Was a pain to get the size right and snug. But seems to be very comfortable for my pup.He loves it. Helps me put it on him knowing hes going for a walk.

Have a 200 lbs king shepherd was afraid it won't fit but it fit alot better than I thought. Don't hear a lot in Mississippi so it's hot. Great item

I KNOW THERE ARE SOME BAD REVIEWS ON THIS VEST AND YES IN PLACES THERE COULD HAVE BEEN SOME IMPROVEMENTS. PLASTIC BUCKLES IS ONE AREA. I NOTE THAT SOME VESTS WERE SHOT TO HELL BUT, THOSE MUST HAVE BEEN SOME DOGS! I WOULD LIKE TO HAVE SEEN SOME PICTURES OF THE DOGS? MY GERMAN SHEPHERD IS 75LBS AND YES HE TUGS AT TIMES BUT NOT TO A POINT I CANT CONTROL HIM. I SUSPECT A FEW OF THE BAD REVIEWS SHOULD HAVE BEEN DIRECTED TO THE DOG. IM PLEASED WITH MINE AND SHEP. SEEMS TO LIKE IT. HE APPEARS COMFORTABLE.

We tried many different vests and nothing was quite right. I was hesitant to try this vest as it is clearly a military type issue item. I didn’t want to misrepresent either myself or my dog as a veteran. I was relieved when not one person has asked that since we bought this a few months ago. He is a very broad chested boy and the any of two strapconfiguration products continually came off. The three adjustable straps are such a boon. I don’t have to constantly bend over and worry about readjusting him. He really seems to like the vest too! I love the pouches! He carries his own foldable water bowl, his seatbelt harness for the bus, my emergency instructions and medications. The only very small thing that I would like to see added is a water bottle holder. I didn’t return the last vest because I wanted to keep that vest’s water bottle holder to use with this vest. Otherwise, a sturdy well fitting, great product!

I got this for my service dog. I got the shorter version because I thought it would be less restrictive. My German Shepherd is 5 months old and still in training. It was easy to put on which is important for me since my hands are very disabled. I like having the Velcro for adjusting the fit since my dog is still growing. The Velcro is also easier for me to adjust instead of straps only. I like the Molle attachments, but like another reviewer said, you have to use one on each side for balance. I initially tried using on one side but the vest slid to one side. My dog does not appear to mind this vest at all. Appears well made. Hope it holds up because it will be getting a lot of use. I like that the patches and molle pouches were included. Good value for the money.

Got this vest for my son’s new service dog and really wanted to love it. It looked great, had all the features we wanted and even came with a clear travel pouch (like a toiletries bag) that is convenient for carrying our dog’s special diet food and treats. Unfortunately the Velcro shoulder area under the adjustable straps stopped sticking after less than 2 weeks. Our dog is a thinly built pitbull with broad shoulders and chest so I was trying to give the vest the benefit of the doubt when the Velcro first started pulling apart thinking it was just because of our dogs build. I’ve adjusted straps, made sure there’s nothing (like built up fur) in the Velcro keeping it from sticking but there wasn’t and sadly it just doesn’t stick. Without the Velcro sticking the chest/ shoulder area of the vest flaps around under the straps, and slips every which way if he is running. It’s chaffing my dog, looks ridiculous and isn’t serving its purpose. I’m very disappointed because we had such high hopes for this tactical service dog vest and it just didn’t hold up. Now my son is walking his service dog with a collar which isn’t ideal for many reasons. I have to find him a better vest and shell out more money because without it we’ve been restricted from bringing him in establishments even though he is a registered service dog.

Size runs small. Xtra large was way to small for my dog. It did fit my other dog who normally wears a medium. Other than the size it’s a good harness.

this fit my dog perfectly. We were a little worried cause it said xl but seemed smaller but it fits good. Its also great cause if another dog comes up to him, we can use the handle at top of vest to grab him and pull him away if we have to. Now that he has the vest, we can take him to places with us, and he can go to the hospitals again to help.
