HakkoFR-301 - Portable Desoldering Tool with Four Extra Nozzles (N61-04, 05, 09 and 10)

Kind of pricey, but after checking around I didn't want to have to play around buying and trying other first before this one. Good name, powerful , parts readily available . So far works great. Bought with 4 other size tips, glad I did. Went to the Hakko web sight and bought Filters (5044) $10 for 10 filters and another tip $19 wide angle.

Expensive, but really functions well. I should have bought one of these ages ago. I finally was fed up with solderwick and the little spring-loaded solder suckers and decided to buy a real desoldering tool. This makes quick work of desoldering hole-through parts like large lead diodes and resistors. I highly recommend this tool- the time it saves will cover the price of acquisition.

This de-solder iron is amazing. I've used several others and there is nothing to compare to this. Yes, it's expensive, really expensive. Cry once and buy once with this tool.

I really enjoy using the unit. Parts just fall out so easily.I have used many desoldering stantions and hand pump, solder wick.I need to quickly harvest parts for audio amplifiers and other assemblies I am designing.I now have a large inventory of rare obsolete or very expensive NOS components on hand. They are being harvested from 1950 era communications, test equipment and audio devices.The customer service I needed was second to none.It is easy to use, clean, and operate. I suggest you buy the unit with the spare tips as individually they are much more expensive.
