I'm a professional dancer currently working for a cirque nouveau company, and I ordered this as a costume piece for non-theatrical appearances (we do a lot of ambient work at festivals, galas, and so forth). Though I didn't expect expect to use it outside of work, I tried it on when it arrived and immediately decided to wear it to a party thrown by one of my friends in the preforming arts, where it was a huge hit.The material, cut, and craftsmanship are really quite good—much better than I expected, given the price point. A bit of stretch in the fabric enhances both fit and drape. The crisp, sharp stripes are quite eye-catching.Though marketed for women, as a costume or novelty piece this is equally suitable for men of fairly slender build (ladies might be able to make it work in certain office settings, gentlemen almost certainly couldn't due to to very different expectations with regard to business dress).We'll see how it stands up to repeated use and washing, but I'm quite optimistic right now. If you're on on the fence, give it a try.

Cute jacket. Ordered for Beetlejuice costume but would consider wearing as a normal jacket too. Decent fabric, pretty thick. I'm 5'6, 145, got a medium and it fits very well. Just a little loose hanging in the arms, but when I roll the sleeves a little it's perfect! It also arrived super early- Oct. 30th when it was estimated between Nov. 17 and Dec. 1!

because it was so inexpensive I'm giving this 5 stars. It's really not worth much more, no real complaints but it is a cheap material. I listened to other reviews and bought a size larger but I think I could have gone with my normal size and been fine.

Initially, I was told this item would arrive after the date originally quoted at checkout. I received an email it would take almost a month to arrive! I reached out to customer service and they nicely explained they were a European based company - but to my delight and surprise, my item arrived about two weeks later; on time for the event needed. Based on the reviews I had read prior to purchasing, the jacket was about the quality expected - like something you'd get at a generic costume store. It was cheap fabric, nothing spectacular, but was bought to wear once for a trip to the Beetlejuice Broadway musical, which it would have been perfect for except that the cut was a bit bizarre... the ratio of height and width to the cut of the sleeves was not what I expected. This was bought for someone measuring 5 ft 3 in tall, the sleeves were too long but the body of the jacket was fine. When I tried it on (I am 5 ft 9 in tall) the sleeves were fine but the body of the jacket was too loose. Ultimately, we decided to not use this jacket and find our Beetlejuice-esque fashions elsewhere. Returning the item requires "approval" which hardly seemed worthwhile since it was only $10, with shipping. I still gave 3 stars - but definitely pay close attention to size guide when ordering.

This jacket is huge and swims on me. The fabric is VERY cheap... like the terrible polyester you hated in school sports uniforms. I'm only keeping because shipping was more than the dumb item. Totally only useful as a costume... otherwise I would not wear this as a fashion item. Uncomfortable, ill fitting and bulky.

Was perfect for my Beetlejuice costume! It fit a little weird, was oversized but I took it in a little at the sides and it worked out great. Purchased the pants separately and matched well. It is lightweight so not necessarily warm. Comfortable material.

This was a great jacket for my Beetlejuice costume. I liked the short cut. It's perfect for a costume, but I wouldn't purchase for everyday wear. The material is definitely a cheaper brand. But was perfect for what I needed.

I bought this for a costume but could wear it as a conversation piece. For the price it was perfect. Fits well. True to size. Nice style. It is a shorter cropped jacket. I'm happy with my purchase.
