This is my first Robot mop/cleaner after talking myself out of needing one for a couple of years. Now I have 4 cats and work long shifts keeping on top of cleaning every day had become a real chore. So I took the plunge, and decided the money was worth it for giving my more quality down time and not having the stress of daily cleaning on top of other life tasks!Yes it was not cheap, but now it has been my best friend for almost a month I can honestly say it was money well spent. My house is multi level with a mixture of solid wood, laminate, tiled and carpeted floors. The Roborock Qrevo Curv S5X tackles them all well. The app is easy to use and has lots of different features from full to zone cleaning, deep clean, vacuum then mop, clean twice, scheduled cleans etc. I like the fact it mops with hot water unlike other robots and I can set the water saturation for different hard floor types. The other benefits is that my son has finally stopped trailing his charger wires on the floor in his room as the Robot gets the brushes tangled in them.The only issue I had (which was very frustrating) was when I was first trying to pair it with my WiFi router, it just was not connecting. I tried the usual restarting everything but it still would not pair. As a last resort I turned off the VPN on my mobile while it connected to the router and that fixed it.Even my cats don't mind it now and no longer try to fight it so I can set it off cleaning unsupervised.

I’ve had it about 6 months now and it is very reliable. The media could not be loaded. What a wonderful creation. Easy to setup and it works well. Mopping and vacuuming. I was sceptical, especially about spending so much but these things really do work. Its also really quiet compared with a standard vacuum. So it con wonderful round the house at 6am n you hardly hear it. You can happily watch tv while lifting up ye feet to let it pass by. Starts off by mapping out your house. You allocate the rooms n floor types. Then tell it what u want to do in each room. Off it pops. Cats aren't even bothered by it.

Got this 4 days ago for downstairs. All hard floors and rugs. Setting it up was a doddle. The quick start guide actually works. The app is easy to use. It cleans up after my Labrador and Golden Retriever better than my very well known brand of stick vacuum. It leaves the occasional golden hair but so did I. Edges are cleaned very well, suction on rugs is great and it can go further under my couches than the head of my stick vacuum. Mopping is fantastic. My floors are gleaming. My only regret is I didn’t buy it sooner.

Roborock Curv - mostly carpets and dogIt's ok on carpets but certainly doesn't get deep into the carpet it's acceptable but you must use max plus mode in order for it to say pick up a piece of cotton from carpet.ONE STAR - main reason obstacle avoidance is laughable. Cables on the floor forget it - just runs over them and gets stuck. Dreame and Eufy much better with this.It rammed into my dogs foot twice it's meant to recognise pets how can the thing miss a Saint Bernard! Rubbish.End of the day it's over 800 quid and is chewing cables, banging into everything and could hurt your pet.

From my observation, it automatically switches between mopping and vacuuming modes. It has the ability to automatically identify floor types like carpets and hardwood in our living room and adjust cleaning modes accordingly. Another feature that I particularly appreciate is the do-not-disturb mode. I really like that when using the mopping function on hardwood floors, I can accurately control the water amount, ensuring it’s not too wet while still cleaning effectively. Realtime monitoring the cleaning process from the remote control app is easy to use. After the map making from the first day I used, I always choose the AI Smart plan to do the job. I am currently testing the pet tracking function, which is very interesting. It’s truly a family life changing device!
