Folding knives are especially convenient for tourism and the Firebird F7452 model is made in such a way as to take into account all the features of field use. The metal for this knife is stainless steel. This solid steel grade of 440C (about 58HRC), is capable of a long time usage, helping to maintain a high quality sharpened edge. The blade has a sharp tip and characteristically forms of drop-point, and allows completely straight line sharpening. The blade’s surface does not show noticeable scratches, it is processed by Stonewash stone technique. As a result the metal has a non-uniform matt finish. It is completely smooth, and scratches on the surface are practically invisible. In addition, matt-finished knives can be used not only to travel, but also for tactical purposes. For the manufacture of the handle the producers chose a fiberglass composite structure. This material outperforms metal by weight, and it is not inferior in strength. Moreover, fiberglass G10 does not fade in the sun and does not absorb water. Due to the fact that it is easily painted in any color, customers can choose the model Firebird F7452 knife with orange, green or black. A fine texture pattern on the surface of the handle allows you to securely hold the knife by hand, without fear that it may slip. For more security of the knife while carrying, fastened to the handle is a steel belt clip. The knife has a length of 8.2". From this, it reduces down to 3.5" when the blade is folded. The Firebird F7452 occupies much less space, because of the size of his arms — only 4.7". And it has a built-in lock G-Lock makes working with the model entirely safe. Characteristics: Lock Type: G-Lock Blade Material: 440C Total Length: 8.2" Blade Length: 3.5" Knife Weight (pounds): 0.31

Big brother .. Really big
In my humble opinion it seems very well built. Lockup is tight blade wobble is very minimal ( its a function of the design my other Made ones do the same)it is much larger than the knife it mimicks. Blade is sturdy and sharp. Seems to be pretty good for 440c. Fit and finish is the best iv seen on anything costing anywhere near it. Please reference my pictures to see that its not the same size as what it mimicks. My guess is that most people will like the size. But i would like it to be smaller. For reference i have average to small size hands. There is also a neat survival wistle and lanyard attached. Also comes in a nice box with a silkish sock for storage.. Dont store it use it. Its a really good cheap knife. If size was to my liking, i would not hesitate to replace my 100$ knife with this for edc.

Buy Several. Buy more than 10. These are simply high quality blades.
Highly recommended for first aid kits, the car and go bags. Very high quality, very sharp blades that hold an edge. I remember when Cold Steel first came on the scene and people scoffed. Now they are a standard for quality blades at a good price. Ganzo/Firebird produces a better blade in my opinion and at a better price. You will see some trolls on here bashing these knives due to similarity to made on a bench knives. Well ignore them. Besides, this is Amazon, and if you buy it and do not like, return it. I have purchased over 50 of the Firebird/Ganzo blades. I have yet to run into a single issue. Most are razor sharp out of the box. I do recommend a strop and light stoning to get them hair popping sharp. I carry one daily.

Good, but not finished as well as often claimed
If price is the only consideration, it's a Very nice knife. Most of the knife gives the impression of being in a higher pricepoint.Initially, everything is great. It's smooth, centered and solid. It came with a really good edge. I am honestly impressed by Ganzo, if all their knives are like this one. What I don't like: if you pay attention to details, this knife is not an the level most people claim as far as finish goes. Mine has a noticable machining flaw about an inch from the tip of the blade. The jimping cutouts on the back of the handle are rough as well as the screw cutouts in the G10 (had noticable 'burrs'). The edge grind isn't consistent. The lock release isn't entirely smooth and actually wobbles some. The overall finish is actually slightly worse than an $8 Camillus I bought from Walmart, and definitely not in the same category as the knives they copy.I've read that the "440C" steel used wouldn't technically be considered 440c in America based on composition, but is still pretty decent.Ganzo blatantly takes its designs from other companies, which I personally have mixed feelings about. But for the current price, you'd be hard pressed to find a better knife. A great EDC that is inexpensive enough to not worry about abusing or losing. I will most likely end up owning at least one more Ganzo in the future.

beautiful color and blade shape
I love this knife, just the right color to not get it lost in the bush...I just got this folder for the blade shape and the color for survival and rescue purpose...good knife, good quality; it came razor sharp, just like all the Ganzos I have, no blade vertical or side play

... find anything to say about this knife other than great, very strong
I can't find anything to say about this knife other than great, very strong, sharp and smooth opened from minute one. Quality this high at this price? Those flea market knife companies ought to be pretty nervous about this...Looking at you M-tech!

I'm just not happy carrying this blade.
It's too long. It just doesn't fit into my hand like I think it should. The blade seems cheaply finished. They could have done better.

A gem of a knife
This blade shape and handle combination is a winner. The two form a comfortable combination that brings real effectiveness to this knife. One of my favorite Firebirds.
