Easy to put on, adjust and loosen.
This FEAMERO Radial Nerve Palsy Splint with Knob is good for those that need help with finger/hand movements due to a stroke, stiffness and pain, and/or for those that need help with finger/hand dexterity exercises. It comes with the splint and user manual.I got the right hand splint and these instructions are for the right hand. The splint is put on by sliding it over your hand, placing your thumb into the thumb hole and securing it to your hands with the 3 velcro straps. There are 4 finger loops attached to pull cords controlled by a knob that tightens and loosens the loops. Place your 4 fingers into the proper loop and tighten the loops by turning the dial to the right. To loosen the loops turn the knob to the left and move your fingers, which helps to move the cords. As I age I find that my hands are becoming more stiff painful to move, especially in the morning. This machine will help since it does the movement exercises for me, thus giving me more flexibility than I would do myself. It is comfortable and seems well made. I have been trying to wear it one of 2 ways, with the finger loops at the bottom of my fingers and with the finger loops closer to the top of my fingers. When at the bottom I find that my pinky loop keeps on slipping cause I have shorter fingers. Once the cords are tightened it does stay on. That does not happen when it is raised higher on the finger. I am not sure which is best and I feel that both do different exercises for my fingers.

Very good brace for rehab
This brace is...interesting. But in a good way. It works but I was just shocked by how it worked. It is weird feeling and I wasn't expecting the tension and stretch it gave me. The tension can be adjusted by the way to help you build up to higher levels. At first it may be a little intimidating and daunting but when you get used to it, it is really helpful. It is comfortable to wear and really helps to rehab and strengthen your hand and wrist. I highly recommend it if you are dealing with those kinds of things

If you wear a glove larger than a men’s XL, this may not fit well enough to be effective.
The FEAMERO ADJUSTABLE RADIAL NERVE PALSY SPLINT WITH KNOB is a well-made device that can potentially help strengthen unnaturally curled fingers, depending upon the cause of the problem. If you are currently in physical therapy, it would be best to check with your therapist first to see if this is a device that can help you.My husband has fingers that are curled; his problem is related to an injury originating in his spine. This particular device is not going to work for him, but that isn't due to the design; it's due to the size. This only comes in two sizes. The largest available size is small on my husband, who has extra-large mechanic’s hands. Because it's too small, it's impossible to place the finger tension straps where he needs them to be.They give you extra-long straps, so this should fit most people in circumference; it's the length of the actual therapy glove that is too short for my husband. I do think one of the two available sizes will fit most people, and I do think this could be an excellent aid for recovery.I did think this seemed a little bit expensive, but when you think of it as costing less than one physical therapy visit, it actually may be a bargain. And after all, regaining full use of your hand has got to be worth every bit of this and more.

4 fingers up by a lift, sidewise wrist & tumb freedom
The lightweight brace has a wheel operated lift, like in Middle Ages, to pull up with ease and hold tightly four (4) fingers leaving the thumb free to hook or grab. The tubular brace is reinforced by a perforated, aluminum splint laying in the upper surface, which can be bent up to 45 degrees (deg. º). The wrist can move sidewise a little bit. The brace is comfortable to wear and easy to remove for bathing and washing. The brace forms ae ergonomically designed, wrist protective, reinforced tube, which upper, stiff part is a strong base to have the mechanical lift pulling up the fingers hard. The upper surface is nicely finished with a durable leather. The brace is easy to take off and put on allowed by three (3) perpendicular straps ending with Velcro closures. It is well stitched together and fits around the wrist area snugly.

super duper brace
This brace is pretty hardcore. It took me a minute to figure it out, but once I did, the stretch it gives is unlike anything I've experienced before. The little knob lets you dial in the tension so you can build up gradually to whatever intensity works for you and your recovery. It’s not the most straightforward setup at first, but once it’s on, it feels super solid and actually helpful. Definitely not your average brace, but if you’re dealing with nerve stuff or wrist drop, it’s worth a try.

Could be better
I thought the design of the splint could have been better. Getting this on wasn't a problem but the adjustment knob really doesn't do much. There really isn't a noticeable amount of force pulling this back. More than anything the extra tension only secures the fingers. Also the design is sorta flimsy. The thin cords on the adjuster knob will breaker sooner rather than later with regular use. Also the price on this for what it is seems too high. Can't recommend this product.

Adjustable Hand Splint
My wife uses a hand splint to keep her fingers straight at night during her rehabilitation. However, if she uses it long, her hand gets tired. In addition, because the splint keeps her fingers straight, she cannot use them when awake. The Feamero splint solves the problem because its open style allows her to move her fingers so she can now grasp and hold objects. She also likes that the tension can be adjusted for comfort. She now uses this splint during the day and the other at night. However, she finds the Feamero splint hard to put on. Because of its design, she cannot independently set the wrist and finger straps; I must help her. We also think it is a little overpriced.
