Nice little thermometer
Got this thermometer for a hot tent that we used last October. It seems to read and accurate temperature and the wind chill chart on the back is pretty cool. It has a carabiner which is easy to clip to a pack or whatever you need. Might get another one so I can compare the outside to the inside temps.

great if you have good eyesight
It's a basic, sturdy little thermometer, but I think, like most people in the reviews noted, its usefulness is severely limited to people with excellent eyesight. I can see reasonable well for a 44 year old, but I couldn't tell you if it's 75 or 85 out right now. I think if there were fewer markings this would be more effective.

Accurate, but hard to read?
Oddly hard to read, but it seems accurate.

Very hard to read
The measuring lines are too tightly spaced to read and the red line is not visible at all angles

I don’t know what I’m thinking sometimes
Well, it’s small. Attached easily to my zipper and seems to be reasonably accurate. And it’s cheap. So I guess it’s pretty much exactly what it claims to be. Gotta give it all the stars then. But I have no idea why I bought it. I really am a chump sometimes. I just see something that looks cool and I order it. And then when I get it I cannot imagine why. This is one of those things. Oh well.I would buy it againThanks for reading

Works very well
have a couple of these on my different backpacking packs so I don't have to worry about switch them around. They work very well. Not necessarily vital, but cool to know temp difference inside and outside of my snow caves in the winter and to calculate wind chill while summiting in the spring/summer in the summers

Squint your eyes...
I like it but seems my eyes aren't what they once were. Very hard to read the increments. But it can be done and the temperature reading is fairly accurate.

Good way to EDC a thermometer.
Great little thermometer to keep on my day pack. I've checked it against the local weather forecast, my phone's weather app, and a few other wall mounted thermometers. It's a great way to keep track of the ambient temperature on the job or on the trail.

Handy to have
I've finally got one. Shame the split ring was bent. Gauge is easy to read, the chart on the back is also clear. I suppose I'll have to find a new split ring and swap it as its too muss fuss to return it.
