High end professional blow dryer
The media could not be loaded. I have never owned a dog dryer before. First off, this thing is super, super heavy. You don't have to worry about it moving around and falling over while you're using it. With that said, I made the mistake of turning this one without having hold of the hose. At first, everything was fine. I heard the motor turn on first. I guess no air was coming out during this short start up time. But then when the air kicked in and started blowing, mayhem broke loose. My two pups are 7 and 13 pounds. Unfortunately, they were standing close when the blower kicked in. I had turned it on high, not knowing what to expect. This thing went crazy. It was blowing so hard that the hose started whipping around everywhere, going along with the very loud motor that was running. My dogs flipped out. They started screaming like someone was trying to kill them. They're scratching around on the hardwood floors, not moving, because their little feet were moving so fast they couldn't get traction to get away from it. The smaller one made the mistake of getting too close to it in his rush to get away, and it actually touched him. I didn't think he could scream any louder than he already was, but boy was I wrong. By the time they both managed to get away from it and into the bedroom under the bed, I was laughing hysterically (of course, I was feeling terrible for laughing at all, but literally couldn't help myself) and couldn't even go to comfort them for a couple of minutes because I had to get control of myself. So, any-who's......Lesson learned: when turning this dryer on, start with the low setting and have hold of the hose. My dogs were under my bed for at least an hour before they trusted me enough to come out after that whole start up experience. Now when I pull this out, they automatically run from it. I can't even use it as of now. But I'm going to keep working on it and trying to get them acclimated to the sound of it. That's really what scared them the most. Because this thing is incredibly powerful. It truly is a professional grade dryer. On the low setting, it would easily dry my little ones in a matter of minutes (one is short haired and one is curly/wire haired). The high setting would dry a large dog with long hair and a thick undercoat in no time at all.It comes with a long hose and an even longer power cord, so you can move this around and use it wherever is convenient for you. There are three different end attachments for the nozzle included, along with instructions. It also comes with two additional filters. While you're cleaning and drying one set, the other one can be used. It's very convenient.Honestly, even though my dogs are terrified of it as of now, I would highly recommend this for any grooming business or for home use. Just take my advise and go slow and low with the intros, so you don't traumatize your dog(s) like I did. I cannot even fathom trying to use this on a cat, so do that at your own risk.

Dual motor dryer that doesn't suck! :)
This dual-motor dryer is great to turbo-dry your pets. The powerful airflow might be overwhelming for your dog, so make sure you start on low and then ramp up the volume. You can feel the difference in how well it dries compared to single-motor versions. The metal construction is SOLID, so even though it's on the heavier side, this thing proves that it isn't a toy, and it's designed for even the biggest jobs. The hose is decently long, but they could have included an extra extension just in case you need to go beyond the 10 feet of hose they give you. The nozzles are designed for specific areas of your dog (round, flat, and wide flat) - even though this doesn't have a comprehensive set of attachments, it gets the job done without many frills. Having a heating option would have been better, especially since this is a heavy-duty dryer, but because of the volume this thing can pump out, maybe you don't need a heater? This is definitely a professional blow dryer for pet groomers - professional-grade features with a user-friendly design.

Professional quality drying
After years of battling my double-coated Aussie's post-bath marathons with a regular human dryer (and ending up with a wet dog AND sore arms), I finally ordered this Flying Pig blower. The price point isn't cheap, but it's definitely worth every penny.First impression: this thing is HEAVY and built like a tank. The magenta color is fun, but make no mistake - this is serious equipment. When I first fired it up, I nearly blew my 40-pound Aussie across the room. Even on the lowest setting, it puts out hurricane-force winds.Drying time has been cut from 45+ minutes of frustration to about 10 minutes of efficient work. It gets right down to the undercoat, which means no more damp spots hours later. The different nozzle attachments are actually useful for different coat areas. Two warnings: 1) It's LOUD. Wear ear protection and introduce your dog slowly. 2) Store it somewhere accessible - at this weight, you won't want to be lugging it up from the basement every bath time. Overall, expensive but worth it if you're tired of wet dog smell lingering for days after bath time.

Super powerful
Powerful and reliable grooming dryer—dries even thick coats quickly with adjustable airflow. Quiet for a double motor, and the magenta color looks great. A must-have for pet owners or groomers.

Professional quality
Excellent, yeeha ! this bad boy is great. Nice steady heating element, stays at temperature without being too hot. The hose is first rate, twisting and LOCKING in place on both ends so you never have to reattach the hose or attachments. Straight forward on-off high/low volume is easily adjustable. This blower is a beast, its heavy duty and heavy weight. providing the needed power for big jobs. It is a bit loud; but well worth the extra cost if you’re serious about drying or blowing out heavy coats. Outstanding investment.

Powerful high quality dryer, if you can afford it
I purchased the original Flying Pig (Pink) and was underwhelmed by the output power of the unit. I have four Huskies that shed terribly and I was hoping to use it to blow their fur out, but it did not do the trick for me. This unit is far more powerful and actually does fling the fur around pretty well. The dual motor design is definitely a game changer.Flying Pig is a well known brand that makes high quality pet grooming products. This one is no different. The build quality and durability of this product is evident throughout. As a dryer this is one of the best you can get.The only reason for knocking off one star is the price. This is a very expensive unit that really only does one thing (albeit very, very well). But if you can afford it and have a need for a professional level dryer for your pets or business, this is a solid choice.
