By law, bicycle helmets must meet the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) standards to be sold in the U.S. market. Unfortunately, this helmet does not. There was no label on or with the helmet indicating that it met these standards. This helmet set looks nice, however, it will not keep your child safe when they need it most. Please make sure to look for the CPSC label in your child's helmet. In addition, look for the MIPS (Multi-Directional Impact Protection System) label as well.I returned this item once I inspected that it didn't meet any of these safety requirements.

These safety gears worked great for Grandson to ride his skate board, a little bigger than what was expected but he was still able to wear them and they kept him from banging himself up pretty good a couple of times.He even hit head on the concrete and he said he didn't feel anything and that his head didn't even hurt - it was a pretty good hit, my son said he could have been seeing a trip to the hospital for a possible concussion and stitches to the back of his head if he had not been wear this helmet. And it didn't even get a scratch on the helmet.

Happily surprised, quality is to be expected for price. My kid has a rollerskating party to go to and wanted to "look cool" so I was not really concerned with long term durability. However if your kid is doing recreational skating or biking than I would still recommmend. If you have a really rugged kid who like to practice tricks you might want to invest in a better set. Pads do run an the thin side but my kid "practiced" falling down and said she couldnt feel it. My kid is 7 and has some baby weight. This fit her well without it being constricted however she did complain about being sweaty.

Perfect. Perfect fit, perfect quality. Amazing find.Bought for my 6yr old daughter, shes a big six, and they're a little big. But she has fallen two pretty bad times and got up shaken but completely unharmed. Her head smacked the pavement and she slid enough to scrape her up in the areas that were protected, definitely saved a trip to the hospital.There is a lot of comments here about the quality of the item, but based on experience, it is a very good quality item and well worth the money.

I bought this for my 7 year old son and it fits perfectly. The color matches the picture and the quality is not bad for the price you pay. The elbow pads, knee pads, and wrist guards where an extra bonus and fits perfectly as well! this set is a bargain considering just a helmet at walmart is this price alone. Totally worth the money

Prompt delivery. This was a gift that got there “in time “ ! Recipient (and parents) was very appreciative and so far the product hasn’t been “tested” but I’m sure it will be. It looks like it will work as a good protective addition.

They are very nice protective gear. I'd hoped to share them for a 3, 5, and 8yo but they are a bit snug on the 8yo. I still cram them on her but she doesn't care for the fit. Oh, and I use a larger helmet.

Good product. Didn't take long to receive. Bought the red and black gear. Hat fits great but others didn't fit so well. Hoping it will fit my son next spring/summer
