ShoSho Women's Plus Size Basic Black Leggings

This company has major issues with sizing and packaging. I ordered the black leggings loved them, fit great, the softest, most comfortable fitting leggings I've ever owned. The size was on the label. So i ordered the charcoal, like I did the black in a larger size, as things made in China tend to run small. Since the black ones fit so well I ordered the charcoal in the same size, I received them package, which was labeled 3X/4X, but what I received was the caprices which don't come in that size at all, and was not what I ordered. Still these things can happen. I decided to give it one more shot, I ordered 3 pairs, charcoal ( I think these are a size smaller than the black from the way they fit) brown (not even close to the size I ordered.) Sadly I do not know what sizes they sent me, as the inside label just says "Plus Size." the 3rd pair arrives next week, Wonder what size will arrive. I am not returning the brown ones I am giving them away. The charcoal do fit, but i can tell they are a smaller size from the fit. It is extremely frustrating and disappointing as i really was looking forward to receiving them. What makes this so disappointing is these are a fantastic product. They are soft they don't roll down, the legs don't ride up, they don't cut or bind. While they may not be cotton they breath and stay comfortable.

So I bought these leggings twice, a couple months apart from each other. The first pair are awesome, they are a different material blend than regular leggings- very stretchy and breathable like athletic leggings, but they are see-thru. High waisted, fit great. I ordered them again last week because I wanted more of the same, but I did end up receiving "sho sho" brand- which I do like- however they are different in fit. Still high waisted, which is great, but not as smooth of a waistband as the others, and they do ride up my ankles when I wear high tops. (I have long legs- I'm about 5'8") I will say I love the softness of the material, and they are not see thru. I think they'll be great for fall/winter, whereas the first ones I'll keep tucked away for summer.

Overall, I'm pleased with these leggings. The fit is better than I expected, but there are a few issues. First, there seems to be plenty of room for the belly, but not for the bottom. The waistband comes up to my ribcage in the front, while the backside of the waistband seems to rest just above the butt crack. My body is not disproportional. In fact, I would have guessed my belly is bigger than my backside. Another issue is that there are inseams. If your thighs touch, and they probably do if you're plus-size woman, you may notice your leggings making noise as the inseams swish against one another. Finally, as some other reviewers have stated, these leggings are somewhat shiny. Again, I like the leggings overall. I've worn them twice now and they're pretty comfortable.

I love, love LOVE these leggings! Being a rather curvy gal, I always get nervous that ordering pants (especially leggings!) online will be a bust; however, these leggings are heavenly.They are buttery soft, even after being washed in the washing machine. There are also no snags, rips, or fabric pilling after being washed and dried - plus they retained their shape perfectly.These leggings are absolutely true to size, and feel like a second skin when you are wearing them. They are literally the most comfortable leggings I have ever owned. I love them so much, I have since ordered several more pairs of black (my main fashion staple is black leggings - I don't care if it is summer or winter!) along with a few pairs in other colors.Today I dressed up my leggings with a cami, tunic top and lightweight shrug - now my leggings are "business casual" appropriate and being comfortable at work has made this Monday much more tolerable.I could not recommend these leggings more...buy them! They are awesome! =)

Definitely long, which is good. I'm 5'5 and the go slightly over my heel. I think they would be great for taller people 5'6"-5'9" I was going to return them bc I thought maybe they didn't look right on me with them being as long as they were and them type of material it is. I decided not to return them because I tried them on again for my husband he loves the feel of them they're very soft and silky and what I thought you can see through you really couldn't he said and he wouldn't lie to me about that because you know husbands they don't want to show off their stuff. So with knowing that my husband really like them I decided to keep them but that is my honest review I didn't have my doubts but sometimes we got to ask the others bc we view ourselves and different lights.

It's just "ok". I don't know how these are supposed to fit anyone that is a 1X, let alone someone who is a 2X. I found it to be on the small side. I'm only 5'7" and they barely went to my ankles. Not a huge issue because I bought them to wear with boots, but I feel weird wearing them with just regular shoes because I feel they aren't long enough. I prepared for them to be a type of suede material like other reviewers had posted and I was surprised that I kind of liked the feeling. They are super soft. I think if I sized up they would be too big so it's an awkward sizing to begin with. Also not a fan of the waist band. I prefer mine to be thicker.

Thought I was getting regular leggings. I was sent fleece-lined instead. Which is ok, it is winter and they'll be warm but I already had fleece-lined leggings (albeit a smaller size) . I was disappointed to try them on and realize that, like all other leggings I've ever tried, there is ZERO rear-end room. They're luckily big enough that it seems like the back waist won't get pulled down every time I move or bend, but they're still skin tight. I was hoping they'd be more loose and have more fabric in the seat for a curvy butt. I'm currently 9mos preggo and 230lbs, 5'5", if that helps anyone with sizing. I got the 1x/2x black leggings.
