ByK Bikes E250 MTB (Mountain Bike)

Worth it to upgrade to the mountain bike version. Looks cooler and we love the tires. Goes over grass and dirt well. Great first bike. Really amazing for 1.5-3.5 yr olds! Dare I say the best bike option on the market for 2 yr olds. I love that for its size it has a hand break. We introduced both breaking methods (coaster and hand) at the same time, and he exclusive uses the hand break so that’s been convenient. When he was younger, we liked the push handle for added fun factor for introducing biking. The older he got the less we used the handle, never use it now. The bell works and like every kid my son loves the bell. The frame is durable and does the trick. I was worried about durability with the metal material choice, but my son has had 2 MAJOR crashes at speed into bushes with thick branches, and the bike and my child held up through both well with minimal scratches. The only issue I have is that my son is 3 almost 4 and we have maxed out the height range on this bike. I feel like 2-5 yr old age range is a stretch because it’s a smaller bike. I guess if you have a shorter 5 yr old they would be able to fit this bike, but my tall 3 year old is ready for the next size bky e350 or even ready to push it a little and skip up 2 sizes to the bky e450.

Almost every piece of the bike was damaged. The peddles, both wheels, both training wheels, handles, etc...

My son loves it. He's riding it like a pro. When he turns 4 early next ear, we'll take off the training wheels and teach him to actually ride but the size is perfect for him.

Bike came with a cut in one of the tires/tubes. Not able to be used or rode 😔
