Stanwood Rain ChainCopper Hummingbird and Flower Decor, 8-Feet

We looked for heavy duty rain chains for months and couldn’t justify some of the costs we saw online. These copper cups were half the price of many others we saw, but decided to give them a shot. They’re gorgeous. They are sturdy enough to handle the weather but delicate enough to look wonderfully whimsical on the patio. We have ordered the extensions to reach the ground and are excited to finish this project up. Amazing purchase.

Nice looking, and seems well made. Copper material is a good thickness, better than expected. Not installed yet, waiting for gutters.

We bought this rain chain in 2016 and I am so pleased with it. It’s held up and hasn’t fallen apart - very solid and stable. It’s patina’d to a lovely dark finish, not quite green yet.When it rains, it makes a light, tinkling sound. I put mine near dining room window as it’s eye catching. Much prettier than the downspout that’s was there. We bought copper basin and it’s great.This summer, we decided to replace our other downspouts and invest in the decorative copper rain chains again. Very happy with these!

The media could not be loaded.  Seems to do the trick. Water flows down pretty well. Had to buy a gutter adapter, extra chain length I put in between every 4 cups and at the top and bottom to get the length and look I wanted. Looks like it will help with the landscape wash out issues I was having.

I love this rain chain. It’s really pretty and shiny. I thought the basin came with it so I was a little bummed, so I’ll order one of those next. It was real easy to install, it was a little long for where I could hang it at this time so I used some pliers to get the last 3 things off to fit the basin. I was able to manipulate it without ruining it, the copper is strong and goes right back to place. Overall it’s great and now I cannot wait till it rains!

Everyone needs one of these. Looks so much better than an ugly downspout. Yes, there is splashing involved with these, but to me that's not a problem. Just prepare your drainage area properly using whatever decorative material you prefer. I dug a hole 2' diameter hole, 1' deep and filled with rocks found around my yard when planting flowers , shrubbery, and my garden. Then I topped it off with brown pea gravel from Lowes. Just had a good old fashioned thunderstorm and it poured. The rain chain handled it admirably, see the pictures. This was the first I purchased, and I will be getting 3 more to complete the project. Also, the hanger that came with it worked perfectly, didn't need to buy any adapters in my case. Bottom line, great addition my home. Wish I had known about these a long time ago.

Absolutely love our new rain chain. It is even better than I expected.

I bought these for my Mom for Christmas. She loves them! She had my Dad hang them straight away.
