Size Name:200 gram bag Premium Spirulina Powder is a free-flowing powder of blue-green algae that is added to moist fish feeds or fed directly to invertebrates. Spirulina is rich in carotenoid and xanthophyll which are important for bright skin color in fish. By adding spirulina to your fish's diet you can increase growth, promote immunity, improve skin and fin appearance, and enhance coloring. Use 1-3% dry for inclusion into home preparations. It can be fed directly to artemia, and fish and shrimp at the larval stage.

Suited my needs perfectly!
I only wanted a small bag of spirulina powder to raise a daphnia culture for some baby axolotls, so I was very happy to come across these smaller measures of spirulina. It is very good quality and the daphnia go mad for it! My only warning would to be use it very sparingly, as the strong colour can very quickly turn your water green - just a pinch seems to do it for my daphnia, once every three days or so.

As advertised - top tip, be careful how much you use and keep it dry. The smell of some that I had mixed with water and kept to one side after a couple of days was epic.
