I clipped out an old thorny hedge and was impressed with the strength through ratcheting and no blisters after steady cutting. Best by far for real work.

This is my fourth pair of these pruners! I love them.! They are constantly on my side while working in the yard and woods.

Besides not being good for people with smaller hands, the company needs to offer a replacement blade; since that's one of the main selling features of this tool! I've had a number of ratcheting hand shears over time and the weak point has often been the pin used to employ the ratcheting adjustment. At least two of my older shears of this type became useless when the pin separated and was lost in the trimmings. The lock-down feature of this tool, coupled with the use of a screw fastening function has virtually eliminated that pin problem. By the way, a replacement blade can be purchased from another vendor for about $5.00; however, it will also run about $15.00 for mailing – almost the cost of a new tool!

This ratcheting trimmer does the job like advertised.

The blade is very sharp. It is made of SK-5 steel. The package card says Stainless Steel. The screws may be but neither the blade nor the handles are SS. The handles are aluminum.When the blade is open, the handles are very wide apart and hard to use even though my hand is large. "The relay-type cutting movements performed by 4-section linkage axis which brings the leverage to full play, even female users are able to cut fatter branches easily." I think this is a real stretch of its abilities. The relay is erratic under some circumstances.The package card is hard to understand the wording.

Great quality! So easy to use. Bought another pair that were supposed to be ratchet, but they weren’t and very difficult to even open and close. Returned them and ordered these. My ten year old granddaughter was amazed at the difference.

I used this pruner for the first time today. This is a good product, not heavy but still well-made. The blade cuts smoothly and I appreciate that a cleaning tool comes with it, and that replacement blades are available. Easy on the hands.

This is a great little hand pruner. Had one before and it finally wore out so I bought another one!
