very good product
These are great, they are sturdy, but still pliable. I have used them in several art projects and they look great. They take patina well and look great just heated.

Copper is expensive. This was a neat addition to the crafting arsenal, though
I am using this to make the copper leaf wreath featured in the Sept. 2014 issue of This Old House. Although I frequently Do DIY repairs and crafting, I have never done any kind of metal work beyond helping my husband cut our dryer duct. I did not know what thickness I needed and was also unsure of size. This product turned out to be a good guess. It looks like it will be enough to complete the project, and while it is bendable and can be cut with regular scissors, it has a nice heft and easily holds its shape. It is quite sharp, and when my kids got their finger prints on it, it started to oxidize. Since the instruction for my wreath call for burnishing, that isn't what I wanted, but I am hoping I can cover the damage once I figure out how I am going to burnish it. It has a beautiful sheen and I hate to even throw out the scraps and am hoping to find a use for them.Update: I borrowed a blow torch to burnish the wreath, which worked beautifully and brought out the colors of the copper.

It is super flimsy. It is barely stiffer than a piece ...
One of the other reviews said this product was too stiff. I had the opposite experience. It is super flimsy. It is barely stiffer than a piece of copy paper. I needed something a little more robust for my project.

Keep Bandaids Close
IT IS A QUALITY PRODUCT. IT WAS MUCH THICKER THAN I EXPECTED IT TO BE - THUS IS WAS HARDER TO CUT THAN I WAS COUNTING ON. THE MAIN REASON I AM REVIEWING IT IS TO WARN YOU ------------IT IS SHARP! I CUT MYSELF SEVERAL TIMES, AND I FELT LIKE I HAD SLIVERS BY THE TIME I WAS DONE. OK FOR BASIC-SIMPLE SHAPES BUT NOT FOR CUTTING DETAILED WORK. I WOULD STILL BUY AGAIN AND WORK WITH GLOVES ON.

good copper
nice, solid copper sheets. I use these to charge my crystals.

Used for roof project
I used my sheets for rain-diverters on my copper roof.Basically, I wanted to divert water away from an adjoining wall.I cut off a 12x4 piece, bent in half, a crimp for structural integrity, then siliconed to my roof.I would have liked thicker metal, but this has surprisingly stood up to winter snow and summer storms.
