Good size for spaetzle or mashing fruit
I got this disk with the idea of making spaetzle. That was the first thing I used it for and it worked great. More recently I was making some plum jam and needed to mash the fruit a bit. I halved and pitted the plums and ran them through this disk. Nearly all of the skin stayed behind in the food mill and fruit came out the perfect texture for jam. I did the same thing a few days ago with some apricots with similar success. The only oddity is that the disk came with a plastic bushing in the center hole which was too small for my food mill. I guess Rosle must have changed the design of their mill at some point since I originally bought mine. I popped out the bushing and the hole in the metal is big enough.

It fits just fine
We had an older Rosle food mill (older but same model) from Williams and Sonoma, I believe purchased back when it was still made in Germany, and we needed to replace our 0.2 cm since we bent it. This replacement worked fine.

Good, but leaves a gap
It’s fine. It makes nice Spaetzle, but the disc leaves a gap between the impeller and the disc. That means some material is never pushed through, and you have to occasionally scrape it up.One trick is to remove the mm thick plastic glide pad, which makes the impeller turn smoother. It is pretty useless, and removing it (push it out) lowers the impeller to eliminate half the gap.

Looks OK, but did not expect plastic insert
This sieve is a replacement part for my Rosle Food Mill, model #16252. The only difference between model #16251 (mentioned in the Product Features) and model #16252 is an extra handle. This sieve fits both Rosle Food Mills just fine. I bought this sieve to make spaetzle. I haven't yet tested it, but I have no doubt that it will work--at least for a while. The sticker on the sieve said that this product was made in China. When I pay $20 for such an item, I don't expect it to be made in China. I pay premium for German products because I have higher expectations of them. I'm also concerned that this sieve may not be appropriate to be washed in the dishwasher because of its plastic insert (see uploaded pictures). The literature that came with the food mill says that the sieves can be washed in the dishwasher, but the sieves that came with the food mill were all metal. It remains to be seen whether the plastic insert will crack or fall out with use. It's held in place by the tiniest clips.

Piece of s'xxx!
Why would you put a chintz plastic insert on this? It broke the first time I used it..
