Unlike the CST and TACFIT Clubbell, the Mini-Clubbell was designed for full body grip from knob to muzzle with an insulated neoprene coating. This thin, economical, entry level design at 5 pounds and 3 pounds allows you to recover lost ranges of strength safely and incrementally. It is also being used in both rehabilitative and post-rehabilitative training programs, as well as light loading programs such as Clubbell Yoga. Clubbells are a unique prop in that the majority of the weight is distributed above the handle, therefore when held upright it requires more muscle activation in the shoulder girdle muscles, postural muscles and core to keep it steady. It is different than holding a small dumbbell, where the skeletal structure take most of the weight. When using the clubbells in vinyasa flows, your Clubbell becomes an extension of your arms and essentially calls upon the inner and outer core muscles to hold it upright. The Clubbell then becomes a somatic reminder to keep the core engaged and arms engaged during strength poses in yoga. Because of the long shape of the Clubbell, can be very easily integrated into yoga poses where the arm serves as the long lever (creating more resistance). Vinyasa yoga involves many transitions to get from one pose to the next in a flow. When incorporating the Clubbell into vinyasa, the body becomes hyper aware of the arm holding the Clubbell and must move through space in a safe and efficient way

Great clubs but with defects
Knocking off a star due to defects.First off, these clubs are awesome. In terms of design, length, weight distribution, grip, surface, all of it is great. I have a pair of early Onnit 5lb clubs, and they are garbage. RMAX mini clubs blow them out of the water.Aside from that though, they come with some defects. One had a big dent in it, the other a scrartch/smudge blemish on it. Both had on the blunt end a stuck on flattened area that's clearly due to negligence in the manufacturing process. One is also glossier than the other, overly so.I'll be honest, I have four other heavy RMAX clubs - I love them but they all have some kind of imperfections betraying a cheap manufacturing process. It's not a deal breaker. They're still great clubs and have full usability, but it'd be nice to have a beautiful product without any eyesores.

there is no better way to warm up your shoulders
I purchased these 5 lb. clubs thinking that my wife and I would both benefit from them. I already own a set of 15 lbs., 20 lbs. and a single 45 pounder, but I thought that my shoulders would benefit from higher reps and the flow type sequences that lighter clubs can offer. I was right...in my opinion, there is no better way to warm up your shoulders. I have been using them prior to my daily workouts and my wife has enjoyed learning some of the basic club movements. I believe that every athlete/workout enthusiast would benefit from incorporating some club movements into their routines...regardless of age. Thanks for a solid product.

These are awesome!
Been using traditional indian clubs since 2010, I have to work out indoors not a fan of hitting gym, I needed a 5lb club that wasnt gigantic so i could swing it in my small room. These were a lot better than expected. They spin well too! Also if you have never used indian clubs do not expect to do traditional spins with two 5lb clubs, you’ll rip your arms off, but if you have been spinning for a long time and want a heavy weight in a short form factor to perform traditional 2 Club movements these are awesome.

Great quality weights.
Excellent. These are well-balanced with a good "grippy" feel. The best part is they're a very simple shape, so they're much more versatile in how you can use them (as opposed to the bowling-pin shaped weights). Highly, highly recommend the 3-pound version if just starting out.
