Gutter Guard Brush (11 inch.) Cleaning Tool

When we had our gutter screens installed several years ago, we were given the impression that they were maintenance-free. However, we soon found out that wasn’t the case. In the fall, a large tree near the house drops small leaves and stems that wash down the roof and cover the gutter screens. Rain then washes over the edge of the gutter instead of running into it. As a result, I had to manually clean off the gutter screens several times a year. I am not a young man anymore and thought to myself that there has to be a simpler way to do this. The Gutter Guard Brush was pretty inexpensive so I ordered one to try out. It does a good job of cleaning debris from the gutter screens and is extremely quick. I can now clean all the gutters on the house in just a few minutes when it previously took me hours on a ladder with a hand brush. Cleaning the gutter screens is no longer a job I tend to put off. It’s so quick and easy that I can now clean them whenever necessary over the fall. My wife is happy too since I no longer have to climb a ladder to clean off the gutters. Amazing! Very easy to use! I get long stringy oak pollen that sticks to the gutter guards. After a few minute learning curve I got the hang of using it! Awesome tool! This will save me a lot of money and I can clean the gutters any time the pollen comes down as it generally comes down in waves throughout the spring. It used to cost $150 every time I had someone clean my gutter guards. The savings will be significant for me and I will no longer have to look at it until all of the pollen has come down at the end of spring to get it cleaned off. Also, as an added bonus, no one is walking on my roof potentially getting injured or damaging the embedded copper granules in the roof to prevent mold/mildew streaks on the roof. Very glad I bought this. I would recommend this to anyone with gutter guards.

Does intended job well

I have debris on a 1st story roof that I had to clear by getting up on the roof and use a blower to get it off.I thought of ways to the debris off the roof without having to go up. I considered a water pressure unit but decided the pressure wouldn't hold up beyond 10 feet. Also considered a leaf blower with an extension but that seemed unwieldy.Then I saw this gutter brush and saw that it could be attached to an extension pole.I bought it and can now clean the entire roof without having to get on the roof risking my life.

Overall this a great brush for cleaning my gutter guards. It is sturdily built and has bristles on all four sides which enables you to clean almost any portion of your gutter guards. The only reason it did not receive 5 stars is that I have many valleys on my roof where I have to use splash guards to prevent water overflowing the gutters and this brush could not be used to reach behind these when using an extension pole. Otherwise wonderful product well worth the money!

I recently installed the Gutter Glove gutter guards on all my gutters, they are simple to install. A week later, we were hit with a hurricane in North Carolina, and the guards worked flawlessly with hard, heavy rain. Still, there was loose debris from the storm sitting on the guards. I had a gutter brush, but the bristles were made of nylon, and the bristles shredded rendering the tool useless. I ordered the Gutter Guard Brush and the quality is apparent, as is the design. I have a long, extendable pole, and I cleaned off the loose debris easily. This is a nice tool.

If you don’t buy the attachment where you can change the angle it wouldn’t work as well.

This brush did a good job of clearing most of the leaves off of my gutter screens without me climbing up a ladder. It's a little tricky to use and I couldn't figure out how to get one particular angle, but otherwise I definitely thought the results were good for the cost and effort required.
