Love this item looks amazing however I would recommend a flameless candle if using in an area without high ceilings. I used a flameless candle that looks like it melted to complete a torch like look

I bought a total quantity of 4 sconces to use as paired wall decorations. The image shows a votive size candle, but paperwork that came with the sconces says to use only a tealight candle with a metal cup. The glass cup is closed on the bottom. I recommend using a candle lighter so you don't burn your fingers trying to light the candle inside the cup with a match. Mounts to the wall easily with 2 black 1" drywall screws (not included). The metal scroll feels light, which is good for hanging on the wall, but also flimsy, and may arrive looking a little crooked. I still can't decide if one or two of mine really are crooked or if it's just me. I'll keep them anyway.

We bought these to add a medival touch to our Maleficent painting. They were easy to install but the wrought iron posts are slightly bent. Not a super big deal. They look amazing with the battery operated candles at night. They were inexpensive. I would recommend.

It works. It is very lightly built from mild steel so it's not very robust and deforms with little effort. Simple construction with spot welds. Comes in an indifferently packed box. Made as one would expect for such an item that is less than $20Need something quickly and inexpensively? You got it.Want an heirloom quality sconce for both sides of your immense stone fireplace, look elsewhere.

Great quality, very sturdy and nice! Strong metal pieces and feels as though it could last a very long time. I would very much recommend! I have two, one on each side of my bed and it really gives me that medieval bedroom feel that I've always wanted after years of playing RPG's lol. I may purchase ever-glowing LED candles eventually but as of now I am using real candles for the true authentic feel! Much nicer than the Triple Lantern Candle Stand, that thing is SO cheesy compared to this. I do not recommend the Triple, as I have written a poor review here on Amazon after receiving a sub-par product. These Single Torch Candles on the other hand, very very nice! The Triples are like the ugly step-child of the family, hehe.

This is a good item. I ordered two for a halloween party and they are plenty big enough. Just dissapointed in the construct of the product. They welded the candle holder slightly crooked so I would never be able to use a real candle. The wax would melt all over the all and floor. That's fine though because I wouldn't want an open flame so close to the wall anyway. Other posters are correct, no glass cup. Amazon should really remove that bullet point.

This sconce is perfect for my hallway. I live in an area were power outages are to be expected this time of year and I wanted to be able to light my hallway safely if needed. Along with the glass handle holder, I feel I am prepared for a power outage. I really like the quality of the sconce.

Only thing is they did not give you screws!!!

Have 2 of them., one on either side of a large mirror. One is perfectly straight the other was welded off centre.

A great addition to my medieval themed lounge. One either side of my large mirror...be prepared to wait 4-5 weeks for delivery though but worth the wait.
