This muzzle works but I feel it could use some improvement. I added the soft side of Velcro to the top part that lays on the nose. I did this to prevent friction and sores. I absolutely hated the little metal clip. So I replaced it with an actual buckle, now it easy to put on. The strap that runs on top of nose sort of helps. I added a small key ring to clip it to, works a little better. Overall it fits our golden retriever well and does what we need. He just turned a year old and weights 65 lbs. I would say the extra large we ordered is the right size.

It is great, love the material and how it went on easily. My dog Selyne doesn't like it but she will adjust. I ordered it to big but i did reorder a smaller size that will arrive soon but I absolutely love it and recommend it for another dog. I got it for safety reasons cuz my girl is suffering from PTSD from a house fire back in Feb and she has been unpredictable lately and we just got 2 additions to our family that I want good introductions without worrying if my girly will do anything but anyways this product is wonderful

I purchased the sizes suggested needed for my 2 full sized GSDs, they wore them once and never again. The yokes on each side are stitched together unevenly and the material itself is too lightweight to hold the heavier rubber basket. My dogs were able to get them off their mouths while still strapped to their heads during a barking fit at another dog. Thought this was the purpose of the device to stop and/or curb that.The basket itself fitted oddly to the point where my dogs couldn't drink through them as advertised, and the band across the front of their muzzle was actually covering their nostrils so they were always huffing to get air. The weird strip/flap that went from mid-muzzle up the nose bridge and over the top of their heads had to be hooked off to the side because the device itself is made crazy so it to kept coming loose until it came off completely. This thing is a whole mess!I went to mail them back, but got busy and forgot. Last night I came across them in my garage hanging on my bike handles, and oh how fitting since I am now being asked for a review.Try something else.

It doesn’t work for my mastiff to well doesn’t really fit his face right. However it gets the job done. My main issue is the strap is combing untwined and it makes putting it on difficult.

I bought two to see how they would fit because their sizing is so off. I bought this for our dog and they say she would needed an extra large based on her breed and their “measurements” it’s way too big for her. I even ordered a large and it still seems too big for her but we decided to keep it but we should’ve went with a medium. Just be smart when ordering because their sizing isn’t right at all.

The item came with no instructions as well as the sticking was out of wack. And the securing buckle does not secure very well. I’m hesitant to test it in public. Also It appears that someone may have tried to adjust the strap by folding and stitching through the fold but did a horrible job at it. Luckily I’m a seemstress and could fix the issue. Hopefully this was a one off instance.

I tried half a dozen muzzles and this one was the best by far. It is soft rubber which makes it very comfortable although I did add a pad on the one spot that rests on her nose. It is secure and I have no worries of her biting anyone and she can still drink and eat treats with it on.

I live on a farm ... And have just adopted a German Shepherd... That thinks Kitty's and chickens... Since they run... Are pray for her... This muzzle is soft and gives her much more mouth freedoms than the standard cheep ones With time I know she will over come her chase drive untill then... I know my pets are safe !
