Perfect for car use
This is the best USB cable for use in a car or anywhere else you don't want a cable all tangled up in your way. Data and charging work. Android Auto works. The hinged USB connector should keep stress to a minimum. The right-angle micro USB connector keeps the plug/wire out of the way of things like your car's shifter. I've tried a few other coiled cables from Amazon, but many are charge-only, no data. This appears to be an original Audi part, has the logo and manufacturer part number, but I can't tell if its OEM/genuine.

More disconnect issues than with cheaper cords
I purchased this cord thinking it would resolve the disconnecting issues with android auto. It's design and description sounded very promising. Ironically the disconnect issues with this usb were actually worse than with any of the other cords I have tried. On day one my device would connect and disconnect a few minutes after I start driving and would not reset itself like it would with other cords. I would have to unplug and reconnect the cord to the port but it would immediately disconnect again. Other usb cords had issues but not this bad not on the first day of use. This cord is useless and I will be returning. Do not buy this for android auto. I use a Samsung Galaxy and dive a 2019 accord.

NOT CarPlay
Warning: Description says "CarPlay" but the connector is not a Lightning connector (it's Micro USB). This means this cable won't connect to an Apple device, and Apple devices are the only ones that can use CarPlay. Vendor should remove CarPlay from description.

Compatible with Honda cars
I purchased this cable to attach my android phone to my car’s USB port. The product listing stated several car models that would be compatible—I have a Honda CR-V which was not listed. This cable fits perfectly and works great!

Good charger but will not fit with my OTTER BOX phone case on :-(
I like that it is strong and flexible and pivots at the base however I wish the micro usb part was not at at angle because it does not lie flat with my OTTER BOX phone case on my phone therefore I have to take my phone case off each time I want to use it which is a bummer.

Not compatible with VW Tiguan
It was not compatible with my 2020 VW Tiguan, in spite of it claiming to be such with VWs. Irritating.
