MGM Targets - Sportsman Auto-Popper Steel Target Modeled after our signature product, the MGM Targets Auto-Popper, with the same MGM Targets AR550 steel target plate & new single piece solid steel base/hinge feature the same spring loaded automatic reset for rifle use at 100 yards or more or pistol from 10 yards. Simply install the reset spring, hinge bolt and nut to connect the base and target assembly and you're ready to go. The offset '8' holes in the base allow for use of spikes to secure the target to the ground for more stability (spikes not included). These Auto-Poppers only weigh 10 lbs. Easy to take back and forth from the range. MGM Targets has always been the undisputed leader in product quality in the steel shooting industry. The Sportsman line was recently introduced to reach an ever expanding customer base with the same True AR550 steel, in a more budget friendly target system. To keep costs down, most of the Sportsman products come off the cutting table and straight into the box. There is no cleaning, grinding or sanding of the slag or dross. Many of the final processing steps found in the premium line are bypassed to provide the customer with extra savings while maintaining the same quality steel you’ve come to expect from MGM! All MGM Sportsman Series targets are made in America and feature a 12 month warranty to be free from defects when used with frangible, ball or FMJ handgun ammunition from 10 yards and non-AP, non-steel or bi-metal core rifle ammunition from 100 yards or more. Must stay below 3000 feet per second on rifle rounds to avoid major damage. Some minor pitting of target plate will occur with rifle use.
