Did not work. Only 2 were even recognized by Bluetooth as "Misc" and neither of those would connect.There was a card enclosed saying they would send the purchase price back to any buyer who would leave a good review so I can only imagine that is why there are good reviews of this item.

Amended (read to the bottom): I got a 6 pack of these and every one worked great right out of the box, batteries already installed. The seller also provided several extra batteries in case that was an issue. Also came with several small carabiner clips to attach them to something. The app setup was quick and painless.I use these to help me location my drones, but you could use them on anything.Now, the downside: After using these for a while, I found out that these drain the batteries pretty quick (a few weeks). You’d need to install the battery right before you intend to lose the finder. Also, when the battery goes dead in the middle of the night, you get an unexpected alarm on your phone. Not good.

The included directions are tiny, so here they are. Go to your Apple Appstore and download GoFinder. Open the app and follow the onscreen directions. Voila! I got the 6 pack and have one on my car keys, work keys, and I'm sure I'll come up with uses for the other 4. The colors are super cute, and included in the pack are 6 brightly colored carabiner clips to attach your alarm to your keyring. Luckily, I haven't lost anything yet, so I haven't tried out the distance, but beep is loud and I heard it over my TV when I was testing it. A good buy!

Can't figure out which app to download to bluetooth this as the instruction is garbage, can't understand the way it is written, never mentions a clear name of the app to use. Returning and find something actually written in Proper English with grammar

The description is accurate these work within Bluetooth range. For us we found it ideal to connect to my sons iPad that he is always misplacing. So now if the iPad is missing my husband can locate it using his phone.

At first because the box prints other apps finding which one is confusing and it seems to be worthless but you must download the GoFinder app it’s totally worth it

This doesn't "find" anything unless you are in earshot of its little beep. It simply beeps if your phone is too far from it. So, if you leave your bag at the dinner table while you go to the restroom, the restaurant gets to hear this device beeping until you get back. The app just takes up space. The cheap carabineers that came with the "smart finders" are worth more than they are. I'll keep the carabineers and toss the rest.

Put these on my kids keys because they always seem to be getting misplaced. The setup for the app was easy and painless. Now we don't have to worry about losing them and it makes for us leaving the house prepared so much smoother. The colors are really nice and they are really sturdy feeling.
