Great at 23F
Great for cold weather camping. I should clarify. We went camping in colder than expected weather (we've never cold camped before) and I had bought these for the kids as extra padding, not protection from weather. During the night, my inflated pad with no weather protection from the ground deflated and I was basically laying on top of the freezing ground. I snuggled up hard to the kids (didn't want to push them off!) and was able to stay warm the rest of the night. I was surprised at how different the temp was from underneath when I was on top of this pad versus the inflated pad/internal ground covering we use inside the tent. It was pretty amazing. Now I have to get more for the adults!

This is a great sleeping mat
This is a great sleeping mat. I've been using on an oversized yoga mat for a few years for camping trips, but needed something that insulated my body heat, offered more cushioning, and weighted less for a backpacking trip in Colorado. This performed as expected. It did insulate my body heat and I slept very comfortably. It did take a bit of a beating and ripped a little on the sides while walking through some of the more brushy areas of the trail, but I just wrapped my rainfly around it to protect it. I'd definitely buy this again before I bought more expensive mats.

Great to cut up into long narow peice for my back pack hip protection
Much cheaper than same length Z pad but also a little thinner. Not as much padding. Perfect for my needs though. I cut up into long narrow piece to place between my back pack and hip for protection. No more sore and bruised hips on my pack packing trips.

Light and not comfortable.
This was very lightweight and easy to carry. However, I used it for camping and slept 2 nights on it. Probably the worst 2 nights ever. I definitely felt the hardness of the ground and was very uncomfortable. It was slippery and you will slide off if you have your tent on an angle or slope. Maybe if this was used as a mat for a picnic it would have been better. Dont use for camping.

So warm!
When we got these I was skeptical, but even sleeping on the ground with overnight temps at 50 degrees F, I was completely warm. Gave four stars because they're a bit narrow, but that didn't effect the warming properties.

Seems to work as well as Big Name competitor at about 1/3 the price
This pad is not inflatable and probably needs to be carried lashed to outside of your backpack. It is fairly light but not the kind of light that gets measured in grams. Probably not the sort of thing you take on an Appalachian Train through hike. For a weekend trek it is just fine. Three season warm and surprisingly comfortable.

Packable
Easier to pack than sleeping pads you have to roll up. Comes with elastic bands to keep it folded together, comfortable and light weight.
