My washer works again!
I had originally paid 3 times as much for the LG Hall Sensor factory part from another seller, but was sent the wrong part by mistake. I needed my washer fixed yesterday as my laundry was really piling up, so I went with this one for the 1 day shipping. I was able to replace the part all by myself (unhandy female that I am) with the help of an excellent YouTube tutorial on the day it arrived, and it only took about 30 minutes. The hardest part was getting the main bold off the back of the drum. I’ve been using the washing machine all day every day for the past 3 days and it’s working perfectly. I’m so glad I didn’t have to pay a repair person to replace a $10 part.

It fixed the LE error problem
Got Le error code mid cycle when washer was loaded with clothes. After reset it worked OK with just an empty rinse and spin cycle but loading clothes in it again, it would stop mid cycle and display the LE error code again. Replacing the rotor position sensor fixed the problem and all works as it should now. Easy to install and only takes about 15-30 minutes to do it.

pins 1 - 5 are all square. pins 1&2 should be different.pin1 to pin 5 should be 10k ohms it is 3.6m ohmspin2 to pin 5 should also be 10k ohms it is 32m ohms

Arrived late, but worked.
The sensor arrived a day late, but worked like a charm. Easy 20 minute install, and now my washing machine works like a charm. Four stars only for the late arrival.

Worked perfectly
This hall sensor is not available separately from GE. After taking it apart, found this online and it worked awesome for about 1/100 the price of the entire stator assembly from GE.

Wrong model had to modify to work.
I ordered the 1A got the 2A. Had to razorblade off the ribbing on the back so it would let the windings seat flush to the mount. Also had to cut flashing out of only hole that would snap to my windings. After 10min of careful razor blade work it went together and has worked great for a couple loads now.
