More yellow than a decorative globe light; size not an exact match for standard globe lights.
UPDATE: I bought two packs for a total of 10 bulbs and used 8 bulbs, with two spares. After about 8 months, 2 started to flicker and then stopped working. Fortunately I had the two spares. I contacted the seller, Ascher, and they refunded $5. Then a third bulb started to flicker and half of it burned out. Ascher refunded another $5 along with a note that I could contact them even if the bulbs blew out past the 18 month warranty period. These are an odd size and do not match the sizes of the typical incadescent globe lights. I have never seen an incadescent bulb this shape. The old style incadescent globe lights are size G16.5 and are a perfect sphere. They are 2" around and including the base about 2 and a half inches high. These bulbs are size G14 and are not a perfect sphere. They are oblong. They are about 1 and 3/4 inches in diameter, but stand at 3" high including the base. It will depend upon your fixture if these will work for you. They just barely fit in my ceiling lights.I got the 2700K color temperature. This is more more yellow than the incadescent bulbs. The other option is getting 5000K, but this would probably be too white and harsh.I wished they made a color temperature that was in between these two.Note that these are not dimmable....but that wasn't a problem for me.

Questionable Level of Accuracy on Brightness
Since these are good quality and work well, I will leave five stars. That said, I'm pretty confused about lumens! I'm comparing these to some 200 Lumen E12 bulbs from Ikea and am very surprised that my Ikea ones are brighter, when 200 lm is equivalent to 21W. These Ascher 400lm should be equivalent to 35W from all the charts I've found online. So, I'm not sure which bulb is off--the Ascher or the Ikea, but I'm not able to find anything less than 200 lm on the market, so I guess I'm out of luck to find a dimmer E12 out there.

Good enough!
TL;DR- good bulbs. 40w equivalence per bulb. Small candelabra base.Used these to replace bulbs in a bathroom vent fan. Not sure why the fan manufacturer thought candelabra bulbs were a good idea, but whatever. Probably the clearance for the bulb height. Anyway, these work very well, are more white than yellow and fit inside my fan housing. The old incandescent bulbs were clearly burning hot. These stay much cooler being LED. They could stand to be a little brighter for my purpose, but I believe these are 40w equivalent. So, their intensity is probably right on point. My fan uses 2 and I don’t like hella bright light in the morning anyway. So it works out. My vanity has 4 x 60w daylight LED bulbs. If I want brighter - I CAN GET BRIGHTER. This is bright enough to see under normal conditions but doesn’t have a harsh edge that hurts at night.

Mostly good originally but very short life.
Installed four of the five bulbs. They look very much like the incandescent bulbs they replaced in overall appearance, brightness, and color. Unfortunately, 1 flickered and failed after about 4 months use. In this fixture that is about 120 hours. The others are doing fine. I have is a small sample size but that seems like they may have a problem with premature failure. Hopefully the other 4 will last 20,000 hours or at least 1000 hours like an incandescent.Lowered the rating to a 1. 3 of the 5 bulbs have failed. The fixture has 11 bulbs and is open so heat is not a problem. The old incandescents are still working. These leds don’t last.

Perfect for a vanity or mirror light
I have a vanity mirror with 10 bulbs in it.... I have never had 10 bulbs because I didn't like the idea of 400w every time I turned the switch on in the bath room. But these are perfect, 10 of them is the equivalent of a single 40w bulb and they are so bright, with a warm light, perfect for hair, make-up, beard trimming, manscaping etc.... Now I am looking for the same thing with a standard base for the daughters bathroom....

Warm & welcome
These light bulbs give off a warm gentle light that gives the room a comfortable welcome home feel. It's too soon to determine if they will last very long. Should they be as good as other LED bulbs from this manufacturer they will definitely outlast the conventional bulbs they replaced.

Looks Just Like Conventional Lamp
This lamp has the same appearance as the tungsten filament type. The light is bright, warm and lights just as quickly as the old conventional lamps do. But these are much cooler running. The base was machined well and seems properly made. I plan to purchase more of these to get the energy savings, long life, and cooler running benefits.

Good LED light bulbs. Excellent customer service.
one of five light bulbs was defective in manufacturing, came broken, as you can see in the picture. Light bulbs that are not broken are fine for now. good warm yellow light.addendum:Ascher customer service contacted regarding my review of this product. Offered a money back guarentee or a coupon for this product free. I accepted a coupon. 4 of 5 light bulbs that were not defective are working without any issues. I recommend this product and Ascher for the guarentee of customer satisfaction.
