This item was purchased for my 90 year-old mother-in-law. She's gotten to the point where she can't hear her TV while in bed. This was a great way to assist her. We purchased a small Bluetooth transmitter, and use this as a remote TV speaker. As such it's plugged in (and charging) constantly, but all she has to do is turn the TV on and the Bluetooth setup turns on & pairs automatically. It's great, and probably cost us about $60 total.I should mention that sound quality from the speaker & volume is excellent, and apparently the retailer has a policy of taking returns well beyond the Amazon return period, so that's a big plus.Overall, a truly excellent speaker. The size is perfect, as well. The only negative I can note is that the control buttons (which are on top) are black, on a black background. This makes it a bit difficult for older folks, though still doable.We highly recommend this unit. I'm even thinking of getting another for myself.

Since these are the first Bluetooth 5.0 speakers available worldwide (that I am aware of, of course), I seized the opportunity and ordered two from the vendor, so that I could test the Bluetooth 5.0 features. So far I didn’t have the opportunity to measure the maximum range of the speakers in open space or through walls, but I will update my review as soon as I do. For now, I can say that I could play with both speakers without any choppy sound or drops, within a 10m range.Appearance wise, the speakers look premium built and they are soft to touch. Given their size, the loudness is good, and by combining two speakers (i.e. using a galaxy note 8), the loudness improves even more. The mid and high range frequencies are full and detailed.The only disadvantage I found for these speakers is the bass that starts to kick after 60hz, and in the range of 70-100hz, they give serious clipping at maximum volume. In order to avoid clipping, I had to lower the volume down to 76%, which is enough to cover well a 20sqft room (someone’s mother wouldn’t complain about it, but one's grandmother would…).Overall, I would recommend this speaker to someone who is looking for a Bluetooth 5.0 speaker with nice sound quality, but not to someone who likes to listen to bassy songs at high volume.

I was really surprised at the Great Quality and impressive sound this Bluetooth speaker exhibits. The speaker has a nice weight and is very solid, it just feels like a well constructed product. The speaker has a very balanced and rich sound that comes from this surprisingly small package. The setup is very straight forward and it is easy to connect it to the Bluetooth sound source of your choice. My setup was accomplished in under 40 seconds after I had charged the unit for about 30 minuets by simply following the clear voice prompts which made the connection a fast and simple task. The sound is not that of a high dollar sound system which might be an unrealistic expectation for this item. The sound is very nice for such a compact unit. The highs are clear, the mid range is not muddled like other units but as the high range it is very clear and clean. The low end is surprisingly very solid and clean and clear for such a small enclosure. The stereo separation is easily discernible and surprising because of the relatively short distance between the drivers I like this Bluetooth stereo very much, you might like it too!

Works well as bluetooth with phone.But, what I really wanted was the TF card feature. Keeps the phone from discharging and lower data rates.The sound is very poor in the TF card mode, it hesitates or warbles. Honestly, what did I expect out of a $10 speaker. Sound quality is HORRENDOUSLY BAD!!! Being barely able to handle a simple piano song without an irritating scratchy background noise. I have to turn the sound all the way down to the point of not having sound at all to be able to hear my music clearly. Any notch higher than that and it sounds worse than nails on a chalkboard. I Charged it for nearly 7 hours and still didn't charge all the way to 100%. Even though the instruction manual said it should only take 3 to 5 hours to fully charge, mine spent seven and got to 80% with the plug it came with. I could have went to five below spent $5 less and got a much better speaker. Would not recommend. Waste of money.

I needed a bluetooth speaker to replace one that I had lost, but wanted one that had the newest bluetooth technology in it. Bluetooth 5.0 has been out for a while, but not many devices were equipped to utilize it at first. Bluetooth 5 will likely become the de-facto version of Bluetooth over the next few years.The speaker has a decent weight to it for the size. This weight is directly proportional to the amount of power and sound the speaker can put out. The sound from the speakers is crisp and clear, even at full power! Doesn't really distort based on the genres of music I put it through (hip hop and progressive house). It also has 3.5mm connections for when you'd want to use a wire (buy why?).The speaker gets but does not have a lot of bass punch in it, but maybe it's because of the size of the speaker, as I'm used to very large bookshelf speakers. Either way, I needed a bluetooth speaker replacement and I haven't been able to deplete the battery yet from the first full charge.
