I paid more to buy the version of this item that is described to be aluminum what is deceiving because some parts are plastic

Tighten it well. Be VERY careful to press it against both edges and not move it. It's not that hard to do. And before you drill a hole in a handle that takes two screws, put a screw in both holes make certain that the center of each matches EXACTLY with the spacing of the template holes. If you do these things, you'll have a great result. Flip it side to side to drill opposing doors without changing the template. Likewise flip vertically to switch between upper and lower cabinets. So you never need to change the template for any doors once you set it up.

Placing cabinet pull hardware has always been worrisome and cause for multiple measurements before drilling the hole(s). This cabinet jig has greatly simplified the process, especially when it comes to drilling the same positioned hole for the same size drawers or doors. It took some time to figure out how best to use it (but that's just me). You Americans might want to consider using the metric rulers on this jig. It is much easier to divide by 2 in metrics than it is in standard American measuring terms (Ex What is 5 13/16" divided by 2?). The ability to use the drill hole to drill with the jig in place was nice. I recommend this product, with some practice. A Youtube video showing this jig for placing single pull knobs would be nice. Most of the jig videos are for two screw handles.

I was excited to use this after putting it together for my first drawer handle bc it seemed so easy. After drilling my holes and then mounting the drawer handle, I realized that it was tipping down on the right/far side. After a few minutes I realized the jig was set up correctly, but the flimsy plastic allowed it to flex and drop on the far end by 1/16”-1/8” which is plenty to be noticable.

Some drawers are to big for tool

I just remodeled my kitchen DIY and needed something reliable to install hardware. I gave this a product a try and I couldn’t be happier!! Takes a little measuring and math to get the jig where you want it but once it’s in place this is a life saver!! Every hole I drilled was perfect for my hardware and it turned out amazing, I definitely recommend using this tool.

We installed new door and drawer handles as part of our DIY kitchen remodel. After an fairly extenisve search, we found the right handles and ordered them up. Since we were refinishing and reusing the original cabinets, the drawers were all different widths. But with this jig, a couple minor adjustments for each drawer and we had handles that all alinged and the screw holes were perfect. Installed 25 drawer handles without any issues. The cabinet doors were easier because door size did not change where the handle went. Installed 20 door handles and they all line up and look like pro did them. I am really glad we purchased this jig for the handle install.

El precio que pagas está bien ya que comparado con la plantilla de Kreg es más económico, pero hice mediciones y su regla no es precisa pero sobre todo no es consistente de un lado vs el otro, además tiene una muesca que cuando lo colocas sobre la tapa del cajón tienes que calcularle cuanto mide para que puedas saber bien la profundidad, no lo recomendaría.
