Natural Insect Repellent Lotion Skeeter Beater Uses Citronella Essential Oil as Active Ingredient

I cannot use deet products. I read many articles about lemongrass and citronella for insect repellents. Didn't believe it would work. I'm a red head with skin bugs love to bite. The bites take weeks to heal. I bought this lotion out of sheer frustration, and I'm delighted.It's not sticky. The scent is pleasant. The bugs quit Biting. It is not foolproof. For complete protection, you have to apply it morning, noon, and night. I spray my back with Coleman lemongrass, for full coverage. It's a serious business!Now I have six bottles and will never be without it. Don't suffer. Invest in your comfort.

Helps with bugs, but is a little greasy, but most bug repellents are.

The smell is like an acquired taste. Some people (me) love it. Some can’t stand it. In terms of bug repellent ability, I really can’t say. Other than seeming to work, I have no conclusive evidence to argue either way. It’s a little bit greasy, so if greasy bothers you; this might not be for you. I, personally, love this product for its smell and convenience.

Great moisturizer for the skin. The thickness of the lotion is great. However, it does not work as a mosquito repellent. Applied this lotion all over my skin before going to work one night and the mosquitos totally ignored I had it on. It seemed to have attracted them rather than repell them. Ouch!

I found this product to work quite well. When I previously purchased it, the product was in an aerosol form. But this cream works well also. Very helpful in my neck of the woods!!!

My husband did not want a lotion. It works well A bit of a strong scent.

Smells great and keeps the bugs away! I'll have to stock up again for this summer. Price is a little high, but it is worth the money. It doesn't even burn my daughter's eczema!
