This does detect signals. I have at least 7 cameras, 1 wifi repeater and 2 wifi routers around my home. So I was definitely pegging out the signal a lot. Because of all this, I had to keep the sensitivity low. Easiest to pick up were the wifi routers and repeater.

I dislike this product because there are no instructions. What little bit is there, don't make sense. I regret wasting my money on this.

This actually worked. I was impressed. Maybe it’s not something a professional service would use but that equipment is incredibly expensive. I found it responded great to security cameras but didn’t sound near regular electronics or cables. It’s also a great conversation piece as no one knows what it is.

I purchased this bug detector because I have been seeing smaller and powerful cameras in many locations, as well as hotel rooms. I tested this on a built in camera hidden in an alarm clock and it worked great.

 Ok so I'm that person that watches too many action/spy flicks because everytime I stay in a hotel I'm paranoid that there is a pinhole camera somewhere. I bought this and a mini voice recorder that looks like a button and tested it out and it worked great! It will also pick up on your phone if it's on, but only if it's close. I like that it has an antenna and both the vibrate and sound notification. The clock on the front works, but I haven't figured out how to set the time! I don't care though.
