I haven't used my DS in YEARS (I think the last time I even powered it on was two-three years ago. It was dead when I tried to power it on before I ordered this,) so I was iffy about splurging on a charger instead of just buying a new DS. The dead pixels are just part of the DS' aging and have been there years before I stopped using it. I decided to buy the charger to replay some games I played when I was younger + DS' resolution is best for, well, DS games. I bought Pokemon Pearl and found it hard to be immersed using the 3DS.It plugged into the DS easily and immediately the charging light came on and I was overjoyed! Some reveiwers have said it has to be set a certain way or else it won't charge, but so far all I had to do was put it in and plop it down on my bed to charge.Please excuse the terrible nail polish job I did on it, I did it when I was around 8 or 9 haha.

I've a DS lite and this took a lot of work to make sure the charger actually charges my DS. If I move the cord wrong then it stop charging for some reason and sometimes I've to press really hard so see the orange light. I don't like that I've make sure that the light is on while playing.

Bought this as a replacement for the charger my girls had when their DS Lite was first purchased. It works just like the first one. I would recommend to friends... without a doubt.

Recieved but was broken

I mean...it's a charger, and it charged my DS. So it definitely does what it's supposed to do and it was a decent price.

No matter what other reviews say, this works perfectly with a DS Lite. Mine was completely dead and this charged it right back up in no time.

Worked first time. I would recommend to anyone with an older DS system.
