Verdigris Finished Cast Iron Dragonfly Sundial with Pedestal

I always wanted a sun dial, not because I want to tell time with it, but for the aesthetic. Very glad I got this. It is a nice shape and size, but not too big and not too top heavy. Stands up fine to wind gusts. Copper patina look is great, and I don't think I'll have to worry much about maintaining it in the future. Packaging was good considering it's on the heavy side. Great value compared to other options.

The product had me pleased until assembling and the screw attaching the pedestalS to the sundial was too short to secure the connection. I am hoping this will be corrected as it is a lovely sundial at a very fair priceOnce I reached through diligence the personal phone of a rep the customer service was excellent....I trust my replacement will arrive soon. The phone system was difficult but than computer and AI really is too juvenile yet to replace exceptional employees. This was a learning curve for an OLD consumer but I got results!

The sundial itself is quite nice. However the stand fell apart a couple times within a couple days. Disappointed since it was a present.

The sundial is well made and easy to put together. I saw where others have said that the numbers are backwards but that isn't true. It keeps the correct time if it's set correctly. However, it is very small. It would look cute in a flower bed. In the middle of my yard, not so much.

Very small, but seems heavy and sturdy enough. I can't use it, though, because there is hardware missing, or it's broken off; I can't attach the top to the post, which makes it pretty useless. I'll probably end up returning it, unfortunately.

Assembly was easy. not having issues other reviews are about leaning. seems sturdy. From a distance it looks nice. But yes, the numbers are backwards for northern hemisphere. Since i was the only one in my family that noticed that i guess i will keep it. hey since the numbers are backwards does that mean that time is also going backwards????? I feel like i am growing younger by the hour!!!!!!Update: after placing in my yard lowered one star. it fell apart. threaded pieces connecting base not solid on either end so you can't tighten properly. a little thread lock fixed.When attached to the holes provided the pointer is in the wrong position. the tip that touches the dial is centered between 8 and 4. it should be centered between 6 and 6. i used just one hole on the pointer to position better but now there is a hole not used. still looks ok from a distance so not returning

Received my item promptly. It is well built, finish is really pretty. Quite easy to set up. I've always loves sundials, I love having my own. 🥰

Don't order this item. I'm not sure if it would work in the Southern Hemisphere, but it's definitely garbage north of the equator!

Poorly constructed - cheap screws had to rebuild in order to make it stable.
