I have been reading other reviews and there are always a few negative ones no matter what. I find it hilarious that people write negative reviews when they think a puzzle is too hard. It's a puzzle. It is supposed to require analytical thinking.I find that working puzzles gets my mind off everything else and is like a soothing brain rinse and relaxation technique.The New Yorker puzzles are great because they have interesting and artful pictures. The pieces fit together and there is never a question of whether they fit or not. Unique piece shapes instead of those annoying puzzles with all the pieces the same gingerbread person shape. Very small amount of puzzle crumbs. Brilliant coloration.I have seen some negative comments about that annoying square covering a portion of the left side of each puzzle. Once in a while I refer back to the photo of the puzzle from the Amazon listing but otherwise there aren't that many pieces hidden that it isn't a huge issue.Love working the ones from the 1930's and 1940's. Very interesting to see what was chosen for a cover at that time.These puzzles have helped me get through the past 1.5 years of social separation due to pandemic and I am happy I discovered this great brand.Keep them coming.

Excellent puzzle. I loved the different shapes.

I liked the variety of unusual shapes of the puzzle pieces. And the cover is very inviting in terms of colors and objects. But that's where the enjoyment ends. The picture on the box cover is too small to display all the details contained in the puzzle itself. There is no fold-out sheet inside that better reflects the actual puzzle. And lots of muted colors that make it tedious to put together. The pieces are very small, too. Hard to get a rhythm going with this one! Not sure I'd buy another New Yorker puzzle.

Disappointed in the calendar and had to tossit

The pieces of this puzzle are very small. I ordered for an older person. Pieces will be very hard to see. I removed shrink wrap from the box but DID NOT open the bag of puzzle pieces. I needed to see the size of the pieces because the size of the box for a 1000 piece puzzle was small. Company will not allow me to return because shrink wrap has been removed even though bag of pieces has not been opened.

All New Yorker puzzles are great and this is a Christmas present I am sure will be a hit!

Love the New York puzzles. difficult and fun!
