Great resource for car campers
We pre-plan where we will go but can't always reserve a spot online ahead of time or predict what will be available, so this is a great resource to use for trip planning and to carry in the car for those improvised situations. We still camp in a tent. My only suggestion would be to indicate which campgrounds have separate areas for tents versus the noisy RVs with generators; we prefer the quiet zones for tent campers.

Must have for NW Campers
We love this book. We have had two previous editions and recently ordered the new version from 2018. It offers a lot of information about the campgrounds listed that goes beyond the basics, and they have a rating system for overall appeal. We use it all the time and bring it with us when we camp. Def recommended.

Great resource but needs updating
I have used a previous version of this book for over 20 years. It is an awesome resource and has helped me to plan many trips.Information about campgrounds change - for example some take reservations now who didn’t in the past. A few new campgrounds have also been added to the region. So I decided to purchase the updated version. The book loses a star for the lack of updating. There is an Oregon State Park that is around ten years old that isn’t listed for example. So if you need a resource to this is a great one. If you have a previous version just keep using what you have.
