Sounds perfect... 80% of the time
These headphones are near perfect, crisp sound, comfy with loads of base. BUT theres a hiccup. When listening to films off your PC, when its a quiet scene, there on an off distorting sound like a microphone. And there is no fix, also you have to turn xhci off in the usb bios for 7.1 to work. So im still 50/50 as to keep them. Amazing for everything else but this problem is really frustrating in games an films hence the 3 stars...

A very good headset
I bought this headset for PC gaming (on Windows 10) and also to use with my Android phone. Before buying this headset, I have been using an Earforce Bravo set (a branded PX3). I am not an audio expert. It was super simple to set up. I just plugged the transmitter box in to my PC, turned the headset on, selected the headset from playback devices and enabled 7.1 surround. Simple. On android, I just turn on bluetooth on the headset and on my phone, and it magically worked. It can connect to both my phone and PC at the same time which is quite cool.Right out of the box, music sounds significantly better compared to my old headset. The best way to describe it is going from standard cinema speakers to IMAX cinema speakers. Everything sounds clearer and the base is better. The sound quality is a little better over the 2.4/5Ghz connection than the bluetooth, but they're both very good. The quality of sound in game is also very good. The headset has a few modes including footstep focus which really helps in Counterstrike ;). The surround sound is okay. It's certainly better than stereo, but the difference between in front and behind isn't too different. I guess this is the same as other surround sound headsets. I've heard that a few other headsets have issues when in surround sound mode, but I'm yet to suffer. It just seems to work.A feature I really like is that the chat volume can be adjusted separately to the rest of the audio on PC. I'm not sure how it does it but it seems to work well. I have so far tried with Skype, Hangouts and Steam voice chat. This leads to the mic.The microphone quality isn't great. I'm told it's noticeably worse than the Earforce Bravo mic. Because it's not a "mic on a stick" it picks up everything that makes noise in the room eg typing. The headset has a few mic morph modes which are bad quality, and are just annoying. I may end up investing in a desktop mic if I get too many complaints. In terms of media controls on the headset for Winodws and Android... there aren't any. That's an Apply only thing. Why? Just cause, apparently. The bluetooth volume can be changed, but that's about it. There are also controls for the mic morph (mentioned before), sound setup (footstep focus etc) and mic muting... but no media controls. Is it comfortable? Kind of. I find I need to re-position it now and then. The top bit seems to press in to my head quite a bit. I think it would help if the band was wider, maybe twice as wide. Also, the leather ear cups seem to create a fairly tight seal, which is good for immersion, but no so comfortable if you were glasses (which I do).The battery life is very very good. It seems to last for ever on a single charge. I think the longest I've used it is maybe 12 ish hours between unplugging and plugging back in. Partly with bluetooth, partly over 2.4/5Ghz. One this that is very annoying is the flashing light when it's done charging. My old headset would just stop glowing when it was charged. This one insists on flashing brightly. Grrr. The range isn't as good as my old headset. It seems to go through one wall and maybe 7 meters. The bluetooth connection seems to go a bit further. Apparently it uses 2.4/5Ghz depending on which is the least congested channel. I'm not sure this is true, and there's no way to set it manually. My router is quite close to my desk and I found that I was getting some interference when it had 5Ghz enabled. After turning that off, the connection is good. The good:+ Very good sound quality.+ Easy set-up.+ Works with Android and Windows well... at the same time!+ Amazing battery life.+ Chat and game volume can be adjusted independently. The bad:- Not super comfortable.- Range could be better. No more music on kitchen runs :(- No media controls for Windows or Android.- The mic isn't great. There are a few bad points, but the sound quality makes up for a lot of them.Feel free to ask any questions if there's something I've missed ;)

Plastic
I have purchased a set of these through Amazon De and as I said on its webpages these are 'Plastic'.I went on to post the following review,''Not worth the cost. I have a pair of RZA Chambers Premium headphones which though not blue tooth provide a far better quality of sound and by using the small Bluetooth adapters I bought through Amazon do a good job for their price in comparison to these Turtle Beach cans.''One thing I could, had I remembered, have mentioned is their ability to leak sound, I will use my RZA's for my travelling headphones as I do not want to find myself entertaining the whole bus or aircraft that I use as I make my way wherever I'm headed to.
