2 X Large Chrome Plated Sink Strainer Filter

When ordering this sink strainer I thought that I was going to get a metal product chrome plated. What I received was two plastic, silver coloured sink strainers. Don't be fooled by the phrase 'chrome plated' for it is, at least potentially, misleading. I had bought similar items from a local shop believing that it to, was metal and as this time, was bitterly disappointed. Oh by the way, I found from that sink strainer the silver colour doesn't last very long. All I was left with was an off white cheap and nasty plastic sink strainer. Take my advice, stay clear and purchase stainless steel sink strainers.

Great for catching anything other than water! My bath plug has rusted a bit so this makes it look a lot better!

This was fine whilst it lasted, and did its job well. The holes are big enough not to clog, and it was good at filtering the bits out of our washing-up water, so that the pipes didn't clog. It's much better than our previous woven-strainer type.However, after 12-months' use, a lot of the chrome plating has worn off, and the plastic underneath has become brittle and cracked, so it needs to be replaced. But at this price (just over £1 per strainer, including postage) I can't really complain.

Just the thing to keep your plugholes clear of hair. Saves a lot of time cleaning the plughole.
