Accel World: Infinite Burst (BD) [Blu-ray]

I really enjoyed watching this. a good amount of it was a recap of past seasons

Love Accel World perfect dvd to gift someone who loves anime very unique!

It's a great animation.

I really liked the TV show so I was really looking forward to this. The movies run time is 1 hr and 20 min but almost 40 min are spent on recapping the show. The real movie content is nothing special and it feels like there is a gap of information. Maybe if I read the manga or light novels it would make more sense. I do really like that they put the OVAs on here, it's the only reason I'm giving this 3 stars.

Okay so Accel World is a fav anime and light novel for me! With the anime reaching an ok ending, I had to continue with the light novel (which continues the story) though upon hearing of a movie, it was good news for me!However it's a bit half and half; the movie doesn't begin at least until 45 mins later while the first half is a recap of the series with some added scenes or cliff notes. The story for that is good but my expectation was lowered as, it could have really done without the recap.There are OVA's as well that take place before the film which you can go to in the Extras menu. There is also a page that tells you the timeline of the events of the anime series, OVA's and light novels!I do like this though and give it a shot if you are a fan of Accel World or Reki Kawahara in general.
