Beware of cheap version!
I want to give 5 stars but here’s why I chose 3:The first time I ordered this bottle it came in nice packaging and I could tell the bottle and lid were high quality. After using it for a couple weeks my husband took it to work and I ordered another for myself. When it arrived it was obviously not the same bottle or lid. It came in a plain brown box with a sticker that said “Kablo water bottle...” on it but that was it. There was no branding on the box or the bottle. Additionally the bottle had a made in China sticker (they say these are made in the US), the glass felt different maybe less thick, and the lid was so cheaply made. I don’t understand why Kablo would send out 2 different versions of this bottle, one that is definitely not worth the high price of ~$30.I called amazon customer service to explain and they had a new one shipped out. Luckily it was the same as the original I had received. I included pictures so you can see the difference. If you order and receive the version with the cheap gray lid, send it back. The real version is much better and, in my opinion, worth the cost!

Cap Separates
The metal part of the cap separated from the rest of it. This bottle was too expensive to be broken within the first week of use!

This is a glass jar.
Ok, so, if you want to pay $30 for a no-frills glass jar, go right ahead. It's 85% adequate for any glass jar purposes you might have. Some people complain that the lid leaks, but I don't care. I just wanted something nice to drink my water out of.I can't give it 100% adequate, however, because the "MADE IN CHINA" label on the bottom of it is somehow magnified by the curvature of the bottle, and every time I look at my water bottle, it says "WⱯDE IИ CHIИⱯ" in big, bold, black letters right across the top! I have not yet undertaken removal of the distracting verbiage. (I don't actually care where it was made.)But, to be honest, this is hard to distinguish from a jar of pasta sauce, once you have used the sauce. So, I'm not 100% sure why I spent $30 for something I would have tossed in the recycling bin after a spaghetti dinner. So, now, every time I look at my WⱯDE IИ CHIИⱯ $30 glass jar, I feel like a bit of a sucker.

Not Cadmium free
It is not Cadmium free. I checked using XRF reader and it has Cd, even thou it is only 12, but this is not what I expected.

Good, sleek bottle but the lid causes problems
I really like the glass portion of this bottle. I prefer to drink out of glass, the design is super sleek, and it’s got a wide mouth which I also find nice to drink from. My two problems with it involve the lid: 1) it’s super loud. I realized just how loud it is while trying to take it off and back on during a work meeting. I had to say something to address the sound because it was so awkward. 2) the lid sometimes seems like it’s closed, but it’ll be on krooked and leak if it’s in a bag. That’s actually what prompted me to write this review: tonight the entire bottle of water leaked inside my purse and all over my things. The lid seemed to be on correctly before I left the house (one of those things you don’t overly think about—you just put the lid on and think you’re done), but once I got to my destination I realized the entire bottle had leaked inside my purse and got all of my stuff wet. Luckily it was just water, but still...pretty sure it messed up some ear buds and a couple other electronic things like my spare key and my Apple Watch charger. Not cool!

I've tried a few and I really like this one
I recently read in a Harvard Medical article that the FDA has urged people to limit their exposure to BPA in plastics, which is hard to do because it's in quite a lot of things. The article further said that people who use popular water bottles for their main source of drinking water for a week had an increase in BPA of 60%.Thus I decided to try a glass water bottle. I've tried a few and I really like this one. Most glass water bottles aren't 32 oz, and I prefer the larger water bottle as I drink a lot of water, and it holds more water near my bed overnight. This is a high quality glass that is resistant to thermal shock. If that's new to you try searching the type of glass this is it's fairly interesting, but this is a nice bottle that shouldn't fracture from freezing or hot water in the dish water (if that's a concern for you)The glass is a decent thickness so it's not heavy, but I'm not concerned about it breaking unless I drop it. I haven't dropped it yet fortunately. The bottle is thinner and taller than I expected. It makes it easier to grip and fit into more cup holders, though not all.The glass has a bit of a tactile feel, even after scrubbing with dawn so I expect the grip to remain. I'm not worried about my grip when the bottle's dry, though it's clearly a bit slippery when wet, I'm not worried about it then either. I wouldn't want it to have a rubber or silicone grip on it, however some people might. The water from the glass tastes great. I have some regular cheap glasses and a BPA free water bottle but the water tastes notably better from this bottle. The top is snug and doesn't leak. The entire bottle including the lid seems to be high quality so I'm not concerned it will leak. The two changes I would make would beA) An auto open and close lid from pushing a button.B) Measurements outlined on the bottleneither of this diminish how much I like this bottle though.
