We have a ln 80lbs Staffordshirebull terrier x German Shepard mix. He has been the heaviest chewer either me or my partner has ever owned. Kong toys don't stand a chance, he ATE them (we went up on a size and he still ate it)It has some give to it so it's actually kind of soft, when you press down on the material, as I've recently learned dog toys should have.This brand has been so durable and amazing. I want to replace all the toys he has with this brand. Definitely going to get the ball for him. The size of the toy is perfect in relation to my dogs size, so I suggest following the size chart.I can throw the toy down the hall and it'll bounce a little bit, usually in a random direction but it's not super bouncy.We have had this toy for a couple months now and there isnt any damage to it, just marks from his teeth sliding off. Great for dogs that like to play tug of war! Easy to use for your and the dog, as each will have a handle to grab on to. Our dog would sometimes accidently get our fingers trying to get his old toys but with thisz that doesn't happen anymore. I haven't had to clean it yet as it has stayed clean, and stays inside. The type of material it is, a quick rinse should be all that it needs.This company will also replace the toy (for about $9) if you send in the damaged one. We have a Great Dane who is a heavy chewer and tears up most toys quickly. That is not the case with this product. She has had the product for about a month and a half, chewing it daily, and there still is no damage.The only downside is that it does have a fairly strong rubber odor to it. However, either the smell is getting less over time, or I just don’t notice it anymore. The smell does not bother her at all. I still give it five stars in spite of the smell.

I suggest you get the toughest rubber version of this toy if you have an aggressive chewer. My pup has had the large toughest rubber pull toy for months. He managed to destroy the black kong very quickly. In a matter of a few weeks. I am surprised by how well it holds up. I am not sure if the different compounds of rubber matter for the smell some reviewers point out. it can be washed and dried. I use cold water. I get the largest size. My pup is 90 Lbs. I try to make sure he will not swallow anything toy wize to small. He has a great time with playing tug or just chewing on it. This is his favorite toy right now. I just purchased another Gonought toy, The ring. It is heavy but many durable things are heavy and dense, however my dog has no issues. He is an American Bully and so far it has held up. I am very happy because even though the price is a little higher for this toy, it has saved me money for months that I have not had to replace a toy every few weeks.

The media could not be loaded. Love this toy & so does my dogs. I stated 2 years in the video, i guess it was 15 months but it still has nothing but minor teeth marks with zero cracks or chunks taken out. Great example on the video. Highly recommend it for any size dog.

I was looking for a chew toy that was "indestructible". Now I know that such a toy could never truly exist so I'm not crazy. What I was realistically looking for was a chew toy / tug toy for our two dogs. They love to play with each other and play tug-of-war, and keep away, etc. So I was looking for something that they could play with and not chew and destroy within the first week I bought it (they're from the same breed of mutts but there is some pit bull in them) This toy fits the bill perfectly! It is made out of super strong rubber and is thick, chunky, and heavy! The figure "8" nature of it lends itself to great tug-of-war sessions too. I would say the one negative is there is a very strong and distinct chemical/rubber smell; sort of like an inner tube or that rubbery waterbed smell if you know what I mean.Here's the thing, I love this toy for all the above reasons except for one thing: my dogs don't seem to care for it. LoL! Yes they were super excited for me to open it when it arrived (how do they always know when the mail is for them?!?!) and yes they played and played with it that day. But now it sits in their little out door toy basket that we keep for them rarely used. What a bummer!Of course, my experience is not indicative of how your experience may be. All dogs are different and you can see that this toy gets really good reviews. That's the reason I'm giving it four stars. It is a really good product and I like it a lot. For whatever the reason my dogs are sort of over it but I'm not going to hold that against the product as it really does fill all the check boxes that I purchased it to fill.

The media could not be loaded. This was a great buy!! It’s the perfect level of firmness for my dog. I got the orange and black one and note that different colors correspond with different levels of “toughness”, so be sure to double check before you buy! I didn’t want anything too hard as he doesn’t like super hard chews, but nothing too flimsy he could easily chew to pieces and possibly ingest. This was a perfect happy medium for us. It’s great quality and has held up well so far, it’s been a few months. It was a total impulse buy and I remember thinking the price was a bit high, but I’m saving so much money in the long run considering how many cheaper versions of something like this I continue to buy that only last between a week and a month tops. Not to mention my 55-ish lb mixed breed loves it, so it’s worth every penny! I anticipate it to outlive many of the other toys/chews I bring through our door!

My aggressive chewing malinois absolutely LOVES this toy. We have played tug with it daily for at least 4 years. I’ve had to buy one replacement in that time, not because it wore out, but because I accidentally left her fav toy at the sitter’s house. Good news was that the sitter’s pups enjoy it too, so I let them keep it and just bought my girl a new one. That original toy is still going strong with multiple malinois, and I can’t recommend it enough. Not all dogs will enjoy the texture, but if you have a high-drive mega chewer, Goughnuts is fantastic all around.
