Overall a 9.8/10I did need to modify the bracket a bit because the new pump was a 1/4" of an inch thicker on the casting of the motor/pump housing vs the OEM. You will notice it when you are aligning the bracket with the new pump you will need to grind the bracket so the small holes on the pump base are in alignment and the small screw and nut can be attached easily. After that cut the old wiring harness (connection) off, maybe 8 inches of lead from connection and wire nut the new pump in, color coded wires make it easy.Hope this helps a bit

Perfect fit. Worked as expected. Noticed that this has a strong shaft. Which should last for a while. The pump runs real quiet compared to the actual oem one. But this pump is oe direct fit

I was a bit skeptical at first about purchasing this pump, but I'm glad that I did. It fit my ice machine perfectly and it saved me almost half the money compared to the oem replacement. It's a perfect and direct fitment and works flawlessly. Will def recommend to someone looking for a replacement pump for their Hozhisaki Ice Machine.Please note: there is 2 different pumps for these ice machines, the easiest way is to get the model # and use the compatibility chart.

The last pump sounded like a 747 taking off ... and I had the unit off for a week for another part and the pump seized... Easy to replace, my unit does not have a cap I could find... I called the reseller and they said the cap was not needed... Such a small motor, anyway. If you have respect for caps, pull the top off your unit and pull the plug for the wiring harness just in case. Nice and quite again...
