I love these fans. I have purchased on several occasions and the quality is consistent. The canvas makes for a really sturdy but light weight material that fans beautifully and thworps very satisfyingly. You can also use paints or pens to add your own decoration, or peel away the canvas with a little patience to recover. Highly recommend, will very likely purchase again.

I ordered three of these in different colours: one for my bag/desk/workplace and two for different rooms in the house. I haven't had a hot flush in the five minutes or so since they arrived, but the fans look good and well enough made, in a good range of colours. The blue one just fits in my handbag, so they're a useful size. The postage was very fast, as others have commented. I chose these because the pocket size battery fans always seem to fall apart, and are fiddly. These, by contrast. are simple and elegant.I'm still hoping for a miracle cure for the menopausal thermostat problem, but if it doesn't come along, I'll probably buy more to go with other outfits, as the colours are gorgeous.

The woods a wee bit rough/splintered on one part of the fan, the pin could do with being a tad tighter and the pin clasp could be better but overall this is a beautiful fan for everyday use.Bar those minor faults, it’s well made and has nice, soft, light wood.Would look lovelier still if the fabric edges were sealed.As they are not, the pretty delicate fabric is starting to fray slightly.Great for £4.49 & free postage and was urgently needed in current heatwave so overlooked the faults but will invest in a better quality one in the future.

These are just the job, particularly if you want to use them for fanning rather than as decoration. The wood is smooth so no chance of splinters and the stiff fabric lasts well. They are not bad value for money given how long they last compared to cheap bamboo ones, especially in a pack of four. Recommended!

Took rather a long time to come - especially when needed in hot weather - but its very nice and good quality for the price. And best of all its SILENT. I already have a very eldery hand held fan which i got on holiday and was very cheap but needed another slightly more robust version and this fits the bill. It has to be silent for using at nite time so i dont wake my partner as its been so so hot it eventually helps me sleep. Very pleased with it thank you and would recommend. One note tho the picture is slightly misleading in that it looks like purple and yellow. the yellow is light brown tho but the rest is purple. Would still recommend and may order another for another spare for another place in the house. thanks.

The fan is a nice size for fitting in a handbag and works really well with very little "fanning" effort.I think this is due to the coloured part of the fan being made of a decent fabric, not paper and the spokes having no gaps between them at the end you hold when it is spread out. When spread out it stays that way, instead of trying to fold itself back up, making it very comfortable to hold when using (you don't have to grip so hard). The spokes are held together with a metal pin that has no sharp edges, instead of the usual plastic effort that breaks after a while.The look and feel of the fan is one of quality - I expect it to last well.Nice stylish colours too.

Yes, I'm a guy using a fan, but it is amazing how many envious looks I get from others when i'm using it - a really cool piece of kit! I have two of these in different colours to go with clothing, and may get more. The fan is practical and so far, hard-wearing. After use, I leave it open to air, then wrap a rubber band round it to help keep its shape whilst stored. Definitely would recommend.
