I sucked up a dog poop into my vacuum and every time I used it the room would smell like poop. I bought these new filters and figured out how to install the cone into the vacuum. After cleaning the brushes and inside of the vacuum and installing this filter, the smell had dissipated.

Have one small pup and do not like pup smell which necessitates rinsing the filters and replacing them often. Just learned a hack that will allow me to prolong the life of the filters. Add a little essential oil on a cotton ball inside the dumping canister. Great way to make the house smell nice fast = Clean & Fast!

These filters fit my DC-41 Animal perfectly. The vacuum runs fine with them. However, they are nowhere near the quality of the original Dyson filters that came with the vacuum. The filter media appears to be close to half the thickness of the OEM filters. Granted you get what you pay for and these will work but I do not believe the filtration will be anywhere close to the Dyson filters. If you're in a pinch and can't afford the outrageously priced OEM Dyson filters, these will work but you will need to replace them frequently.

Very happy with this 'copycat' product so far. Very good value, and I received it quickly. It was packed well (triple-wrapped) for shipment, and it installed very easily, took me 3 to 4 minutes total. Now my Dyson seems to have better suction, and no longer smells like my dog when I run it! I had been cleaning the original filters as instructed, but they still seem to gradually build up unremovable dirt, so replacing the filters every year or so is probably a good idea.The cylindrical filter seals right into the filter canister. The round HEPA filter that goes into the ball/wheel has quite a firm fit, just like the original filter. Be sure to fully rotate it counter-clockwise into its locked position.I read a review here in which the purchaser complained that the filter didn't fit her vacuum, causing rubbing of the ball/wheel when she used the vacuum. I'm pretty sure that she didn't fully install the filter. Some people (e.g. elderly or disabled folks) might need assistance, especially if their grip isn't strong.Overall, this is a great value at $14.99!

I purchased this as a replacement for OEM filters for my Dyson DC65 Animal Total Clean. I was a bit hesitant because sometimes you get exactly what you pay for.The long tubular filter seemed to be identical to the OEM. However, the round filter was not quite as large as the original, the filter portion wasn't as tall. That said, so far they have been working fine. The vacuum's suction is fine, I don't smell any odors or dust when using. I will update if something changes.At this point I would recommend. It seems to do exactly what it is supposed to do at a reasonable price.

The first thing I noticed once I replaced my old filters with these was how much better the suction was. We have a lot of pet hair and it got it off the rug in one sweep where before it took multiple times going over it repeatedly to get all the dog hair up. It also smelled a lot better as the old filters smelled like a wet dog- no matter how thoroughly I washed and dried it. The fit was perfect and the money I saved using these verses purchasing from Dyson made this a very satisfying find!

I bought these replacement filters for my Dyson DC66 vacuum. Initially I was going to replace them immediately, but held off because we were using the vacuum to suck up a lot of stuff from a recent home renovation. By the time everything was done and I went to replace, I noticed that there was a tear in the inner lining in the long cone filter. I checked my order and I was beyond the 30 days return period, so I had to keep it.This was a bit disappointing--I bought these because I deliberately did not want the cheapest replacement filters. But at least this tear won't affect the performance of the filter, though it may affect the longevity.On a positive note, both filters fit like the originals and now I'm confident my Dyson is working more efficiently.

Used these to replace the filters in my DC66. The suction on the vacuum is back to normal. I could not be happier.

These filters do fit well, and appear to be similar construction and quality to the original Dyson pre- and post filters. The post filter (on the ball) does fit, but does not 'click' when turned all of the way to lock in place, but it is tightly secured (i.e. it does not work itself loose). Great value alternative to Dyson parts.

Arrived so quickly - I ordered on a Monday, arrived at my door Tuesday morning. The canister filter seems (so far - one use) to fit and to work. However the filter that fits in the ball does not lock into place, so when you move the vacuum it turns with the ball and locks the vacuum wheel ball so the vacuum doesn't move. This makes it impossible to vacuum unless you are only moving forward, and as a result renders the entire vacuum useless. I have no idea how to fix this; I tried for a time to figure out if I could even tape it somehow, but I don't buy products to have to fix them. I bought this set to use while the other filters are drying and Dyson does not make buying replacements easy. I may try other vendors here but will avoid this one in future, unfortunately.
