Edit: The carrots grew just fine and were really good eating. I didn’t see any mushrooms in my control pot so why they grew just in the one planter bed and only where the carrots were, I don’t know. We are puzzled. Maybe there was just a perfect mix for them to grow and the carrots had the spores but it wasn’t the right mix in the back yard where the controls pot was. I changed my review because the carrots themselves were very good and it had a good blend of colors. My kids were excited to see them and our dogs kept picking them to eat.Original post:The carrots are growing great, however, there are mushrooms growing with them. I can not identify them as they are not around this area but look like some kinds of ink cap (as their ends have a black tar or ink looking liquid) as well as a few others Mushrooms. We just put in four new raised beds, all have the same soil/compost added but yet the only place the fungus is growing is where we planted these carrots. We have another type of carrot we planted, no mushrooms. I am doing an experiment to make sure they came from this package so will update when they start to grow. I need to figure out what kind of fungus this is to know if they are poisonous. If so, organic doesn’t look good for these carrots!

Fanatic seeds! I normally have issues with getting seeds to sprout. I did not have that issue with these guys. I even skipped putting them in starters and they are growing like crazy week after planting.

We have used these rainbow carrots for two seasons now. In the fall we got huge, delicious carrots. Most recently the carrots were smaller, but that was only because we didn’t thin them well enough. We harvested after about 80 days. Germination was really good, and there’s a nice assortment of colors from these seeds. Even with our carrots being small, we ended up with over 5lb of rainbow carrots from this pack of seeds. I think if we had properly thinner it could have easily been double the return. I will buy these again in the future.

Nothing crazy big but was fun to grow. Not as sweet as the store but it might have been my soil.

I have purchased these carrots from stores like sprout and my kids love them, think they're fun. So we thought it would be an adventure to grow them ourselves. We are severely disappointed that we tried 2 batches and not a single sprout popped up. We have been checking every day since June and now that it's August, we are giving up. Waste of money and time.

The past couple of years carrots have become a new thing to grow for me. I have a good sized garden but never really worked at carrots. After trying them - goodness gracious they are so much better than store bought. This pack of seeds arrived and they look fresh and healthy. No dust and trash with them. It's just getting time to plant them where I live so they were seeded today. I can update later but hoping they sprout well. If so, chances are I'll be watching the really cool colored one to let them go the seed to grow more later.
