Abacus Swivel Chair Parts Stool Floor Protector Rings #1751-451 Black 17 3/4"

I watched the video on how to replace these but it was somewhat challenging for me. Although I ordered 17 3/4 size, 17 1/4 was what came. It appeared that it was a good size match but ultimately I had to cut off about 3/4 of an inch. Cutting was difficult without wire cutters and the cut left a jagged edge which I had to buff off with sandpaper. I needed these to to help the bar stools not scrape the hardwood floors which time will tell. These are hard plastic and not really securely anchored to the base of the chair - you just sort of shove them on and hope they stay in place. I don't know if there is another alternative but I don't really expect these to last too long. Something stretchy and rubbery would be better than this.

Same as factory original. Need something with more thickness. It will require an update as to how well they prevent floor scratching.

Doesn't conform well to the base despite following all directions. It continually falls off. Not worth you time. Get $4 of felt as it works great!!!
