Classic Copper Still 0.7L with Thermometer and Wooden Base

We bought this as a Christmas present for our daughter, who is studying Botany. It was her dream to have one, but she could not justify the 300 price tag at other locations. Getting it direct from Portugal for half that price was a great option, and we were pleasantly surprised at how quickly it arrived.As to the operation of the still, it functions as needed. As others have pointed out regarding these tiny stills, they don't process much, and they take a lot of attention to do right. The only reason you would want to use one of these is simply to say 'you did it yourself'. If you really are serious about distilling, buy a 2 gallon unit.Nonetheless, this seems to be well made, and is a great decor item when not in use - definitely a conversation piece!

It supposed to take up to a month to be delivered from Portugal but took only 6 days to make to Seattle, US. I have already made several hydrosol. It makes about 120 ml. of hydrosol each boiling which is perfect for making my personal facial creams. You will certainly need a bigger still if you plan to make essential oil, though. Make sure to use featured alcohol instead of isopropyl alchol.

Shipping took awhile, but that’s understandable. Used it first day I got it- and the handles fell off. Almost like the sodder was bad? Very disappointing. Yes it works but now there are no handles and melted sodder on the wood.

this is a very sturdy piece, I actually bought it for my wife as a surprise gift and let me tell you the brownie points have come, she absolutely loves this, the only thing I wish is that it would have come with some tubing, no big deal still completely satisfied with the purchase.

Very dissatisfied that it did not come with an instruction booklet of some sort. I was so excited about beginning to make my oils but could not even find a YouTube video for this specific product. The delay is disheartening! I have to wait at least two more business days before I get an email response. My rose petals will wilt before I can use them. I just hope the wait is worth it, otherwise I will send it back.

Bought as present, she loved it, made several extracts, looks very pretty in the kitchen. You end up using a lot of ice, is super fun. We used ever clear in lamp. Arrive in about 2 weeks, much faster than listed.

We plan on experimenting with lavendar oil. We fired it up with some dried, old lavendar and it works great. Now we're waiting for next season's fresh flowers.
