Nice Exfoliator from a Good Brand
I previously used Forgotten Skincare's lightening deodorant and really loved it. I thought it worked well and lightened my skin. So I was overjoyed to try this! This is a clay-based exfoliating scrub. It does a nice job getting off dead skin cells. I haven't noticed lightening yet but I haven't been using it for long enough.I took off one star because it contains phenoxyethanol, which scores as harmless at EWG but a moderate risk of being an allergen, an irritant, a pollutant and a potential endocrine disruptor.I also did not like that it comes in a plastic bag. I'd prefer if the bottle were not plastic but understand why it was used but the plastic bag was necessary when paper or a box could be used just as well (or nothing).

I've not really seen any lightening, but it is exfoliating and keeping my ingrown hairs at bay
Maybe this is TMI, but I am prone to ingrown hairs and sometimes clogged pores in my armpits, especially after shaving. I've tried using body scrubs in that area before shaving to see if that would help, but I didn't really notice much of a difference; part of me has wondered if it's because they were all fragrance-heavy stuff, like peaches & cream or whatever. When I saw this, I thought maybe I should try a more natural exfoliant to see if that would help. I didn't realize until after ordering it that it was also suppose to help lighten up whatever area you use it on, which isn't really something I was really concerned about. The directions say to use this twice a week so I've been using it in the showers on Wednesdays and one day the weekend. You don't need very much, the amount in my photo is how much I've been using in total in the shower to exfoliate both of my armpits. It does smell pretty strongly of clay or chalk, even after rinsing it off, but its gone by the time I put my deodorant on, although maybe it's the strong scent of my deodorant that's covering it up. The clay smell isn't unpleasant though. It is, unsurprisingly, a bit gritty in texture and so far, in the 2 weeks I've been using it, I haven't had any ingrown hairs or clogged pores under my arms! I haven't noticed any lightening up of this area, but I also am not following their directions to follow up with their other 2 lightening products so I suppose if that's something you were looking for, you could try to do that.I appreciate that the screw-on cap has a flip-top opening, much easier to efficiently use everything in the bottle than with a pump. The bottle itself isn't very large, but considering that you only need a little bit of product for small, concentrated areas and only twice a week at most, this should last quite a while.

Gentle Scrub That Leaves Skin Feeling Smooth
This exfoliating scrub has a nice texture, its not too harsh, and spreads easily on the skin. It rinses off cleanly and leaves the area feeling softer after use. The scent is light, and it doesn’t feel overly drying. I’ve been using it a few times a week and like how it fits into my routine. A little goes a long way, so the bottle lasts a while. It’s a nice option if you’re looking for something gentle to help with rough patches or prep the skin.

Good exfoliating scrub
Nice gentle exfoliating scrub that has texture in it but it's not super aggressive. It dispenses easily from the bottle and just barely lathers up, but the little scrubbers do a good job in gently exfoliating while rubbing over my skin. It rinses clean and doesn't leave any sticky or greasy residues. It seems to do a good job on my skin in some problem areas I have with ingrown hairs, I've had less lately, so feel like this scrub is helping with that after shaves. Scent is mild and pleasant, and doesn't linger after rinsing. No issues with my sensitive skin.

Good exfoliator
This feels nice on the skin and works as a good exfoliator. I'm not crazy about the smell but it's not bad at all.

Used this with a pumice stone to get the tar off my feet!
When I go to the beach, I often get tar on my feet. If you have ever experienced this, you know that tar is pretty much impossible to get off unless you use something special to help out. I decided to use this with a pumice stone to see if it would get the tar off my feet. Guess what? It worked really well! And bonus... my feet were very smooth after!

Body Scrub
This is a good, very natural body scrub. It is sufficiently gritty and leaves my KP feeling softer. It doesn’t seem like it has any fragrance, which may be good for some. I would prefer a scent because it has a very earthy smell to it that I don’t care for. Pretty good product other than the scent. Made in the USA

Not great
Was hoping this would be better. Not very exfoliating in my opinion. Also, it smelled old. Would not recommend.
