Classy looking and functional collar
I ordered this collar because I didn't like the looks/design of the kitty collars I found in the pet stores. Also, at the time my kittens (I have two) were only 12 weeks old, so I was looking for a collar that would adjust with their growth. I'm happy to report that this collar (I ordered two, in different colors) has been great. Even the vet noticed the collar and remarked how neat it is. The collar looks really sharp and has a nice sized metal loop for hanging an ID tag, etc. Both kittens took to this collar just fine (it was their first collar) and I have been able to let the collar out a bit as they've grown. I also like the fact that there's no "extra collar" hanging out past the buckle -- the collar just forms a big loop around the kitty's neck. The only issue I've had is one of the collars is a bit hard to adjust -- but overall I've been very pleased.

Nice lightweight rounded collar for cats..
I bought 3 of these because I wanted something very light weight and a item that would not rip the fur out of my beautiful long-haired Angora, who is a very young cat, we couldn't believe was starving for weeks outside of my daughters Medical Clinic here in South Texas. I tried a regular cat collar with the traditional cat release clip, but she wouldn't stop scratching it. I put this one on all 3 of my cats kind of loose, so it would pull off just it case as a few others claimed, doesn't always release. It should pull apart though, from what I've seen. I really like the lightness of these collars and the cord used to make it is the round stretchy stuff used for bracelets. Very simply made, and I make jewelry and plan on making these now myself... My cats never go outside, so if they did I most likely would use the traditional types for them.. These are great for inside cats, I think...

This is a safe collar!
I was very happy to find a collar that would be comfortable for my cat and not too bulky- so when I read the review about it not being safe I was concerned. I had to see for myself so I ordered it. The portion of the collar that allows for sizing has two strands of nylon and when only one is pulled the collar actually EXPANDS! So if your cat is wearing it at a comfortable size and this part is tugged, even if the breakaway magnet does not open, you cat will be able to squeeze out of the now larger collar. And the breakaway magnet works well...it takes a good firm tug for it to open up. When I first got it I gave it a tug and it needed a lot of force to open up but that was just the first time, it was more responsive after that. This is a clever minimalistic collar- and it is safe!

Definitely light weight but looks cheap
.........not sure what else to put here, the headline sums it up fairly well. My two cats can't stand regular collars but when input these on, they don't even know they're on...until you add the rabies and name tags. Hmmm...

not for long haired cats
My cat had some kind of bad reaction to one of the metal notches in the collar and she scratched it so bad she had a huge scab on her neck. I had to finally remove it and it finally healed after many weeks. She is a long haired cat and I would not recommend for long haired, my short haired cat is doing fine with it.

Nice and discreet
I love this collar because it doesn't matte my cat's hair like other collars would. It breaks off easily if you pull on it. It also doesn't draw too much attention to itself, which is exactly what I wanted. The only thing is that I need to continuously tighten it because it stretches out. But otherwise, a great product. I wish there was more color variety.

My Cats Love These Collars
I have a persian that is prone to getting matts in his fur, and a smart and feisty siamese who has not tolerated any other collar before, and was able to get most of them off. These super thin collars, however, have been working wonderfully. It doesn't seem to be matting my persian's fur nearly as badly (it still rubs a bit, but with the daily brushing and petting around the neck, it really isn't a problem) and my siamese can't tell that it's on her except for the tags jingling. I haven't seen her scratch at it at all. They were easy to adjust, not too loose and not too tight. They look great, and really do look more like a necklace than a tacky cat collar. I would recommend these to a normal cat collar any day.

Flimsy clasp - don't waste your money.
I bought this collar because my cats are irritated by collars and I thought a slim profile might make them hate it less. Nope they still hate it. But that's not what makes this collar terrible. It's terrible because the breakaway clasp is weak, plastic, and barely makes a connection. Any cat can remove it just by reaching up a paw and tugging on it. Mine had it off in a couple of hours. It's not so much a "breakaway" clasp as a "fall away" clasp. Don't waste your money. Buy a regular collar.
