BABEYOND 1920s Women's Flapper Dress with Short Sleeves Gatsby Theme Party Women's Costume Dress

This dress surpassed all my expectations. I expected a fancy dress type outfit for the price, and was so surprised at the quality and fit. I loved it and would definitely buy from this seller again. I recommended Babeyond to a friend who was going to the same 20's event, and she ended up getting a dress from them too. I was very impressed.

Came very quickly. Fitted well over bust and waist. A little large on the hips but only I noticed! Great value for money and although it was for a Great Gatsby party, I can wear it as a cocktail dress in the future.

I bought this for my OH 60th, Peaky Blinders party, it's gorgeous and excellent quality. Amazon recommended size XL based on my info (size 16 at M & S), however, when I checked my measurements against the size chart from the supplier, the bust was 3cm too small and it was a snug fit all over so I ordered 2xl. When the dress came it was actually 2-3xl and far too big on me; I managed to make some alterations but because of the zip and the beading it was difficult to take it in enough, especially over the hips, and the fit across the shoulders and bust was still far too loose, but as it was only for a fancy dress party so it didn't matter too much, and people commented how lovely it was so perhaps it was a better fit than I thought. If you're a similar size then I'd recommend that you order the dress in 2 sizes to test the fit, and then return 1. I wasn't able to return the dress as I live abroad and had it delivered to a friend in the UK and they brought it out to me. If I'm able to, I'll try the smaller size next time I'm in the UK and I'll update this review with my findings.

This dress is absolutely stunning. The fit is perfect, the design is gorgeous and the fringes are so soft against your legs, cannot wait to go to a party and show it off!

Ordered the 3xl size as some reviews said the dress came up small, I'm size 18 top and 16 bottom it swamped me far too big in every way so returned it for two smaller sizes XL and 2XL the XL fit perfect and not too tight with room to spare, and just the right length, the dress itself is absolutely stunning, I ordered the dark green and gold, there is a good choice of other colours to, it's for a 1920s night on a cruise, the beading and materials are very good, looks more expensive, looking forward to wearing it, would definitely recommend, brilliant returns service to first time I've sent anything back to Amazon sent two dresses back within a couple of days was fully refunded money back,

I bought it for a Peaky Blinders do and was surprised how nice the dress fitted. Be careful going to the loo as you have to hitch it right up as the tassels get in the way. By the end of the night a few of the tassels had dropped and come loose. Have saved it for another fancy dress night.

Ich habe mit Größe 42/44 das Kleid in Größe XXL bestellt. Es passte gut bzw. fiel eher locker, das war sehr angenehm und ich habe mir sehr gut darin gefallen. Bei viel Bewegung tendiert man in dem Material zum schwitzen, aber das Kleid ist üppig mit Pailletten und Perlen ausgestattet, habe nur ein paar Fransen verloren.Ein tolles Kleid mit sehr gutem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.

J'ai reçu mon colis hier soir, soit seulement 2 jours après la commande (très rapide). Je suis enchantée ! La robe est magnifique avec tous les motifs en sequins. Elle est parfaitement bien coupée et me va très bien. En me fiant au tableau des mensurations et aussi aux conseils de précédents acheteurs (merci à vous toutes!!), j'ai choisi une taille S: je mesure 1m65 pour 53-54 kg avec pour mensurations 90cm (poitrine), 74cm (taille) et 99cm (hanches). La robe va très bien, je ne flotte pas dedans et elle ne boudine pas non plus ! Juste parfait. J'ai hâte de pouvoir la porter pour ma prochaine soirée Années Folles!!
