EROZEK AEO18040 Hp Cone Skimmer for Aquarium Water Pump, 120-Gallon

I bought this product almost a year ago and it is still working perfectly. Produces a ton of very dark skimate that REAKS horribly, so I know its doing its job. Did not take more than a few days to "break in" and begin working without a hitch.Update:This skimmer is still working perfectly 2 years later! I am still amazed at how quiet it is.Another update: August 28, 2016So, it's been 4 years since my purchase. I have had no issues with this skimmer. It's still very quiet and effective.Last update: June 18, 2020So this is the end, this protein skimmer finally quit! Could be just the way 2020 has been going, but it was an amazing skimmer! Quiet and worked perfectly until the day it quit! Will buy again!

I've had this running for a month or so now. There was a short few day break in period but started producing gunk almost immediately. Now I am cleaning it every week and its pulling out a lot of waste. The bubble action is stellar. This thing is quiet! You'll have no idea its on unless your looking. Thank you Sicce!It does seem to have to warm up again after being turned off to clean or whatever. Once turned on again the water level and foam action seems to stay lower in the column but comes back fairly quickly.Replaced a Coralife 65 Super Skimmer hangon and although that one was 5 years old there is no comparison. The Eshopps skimmer is light years beyond in production, quietness and ease of cleaning.

Like most things that you never buy before you just dont know what kind of quality your going to get. This is very simple to put together, and the construction is very good in my opinion. It is very quiet, in fact I cannot even hear it running over my quiet water trickle from the overflow box.Skimms very well, and adjustment of the skim level is very easy to set / change. I would but this again in a heart beat.

Really easy to set up and get working..!!! Only one thing is I had to mark the adjustment tube where closed and open was. It replaced the lees expensive one I could not get working, anyone want to buy it :-)

THIS SKIMMER FROM ESHOPPS WORKS GREAT LIKE MOST OF ESHOPP PRODUCTS. THE ONLY THING IS THE CLEANING SECTION BOTTOM WOULD BE EASY ER IF IT TWISTED OFF LIKE THE TOP SECTION FOR CLEANING

If you have a small sump like I do, this is a great skimmer. It is quiet and works great

We have had this 120 cone skimmer for adout 15 months now. The skimmer works great when the pump want to work. Has a really small foot print so for people with a small sump works out great

I've had this up and running for about a year and a half without any problems. It does a much better job then the older one we had that hung from the back of the tank.
