Key Fob Keyless Entry Smart Remote Shell Case & Pad fits Cadillac ATS, CT6, CTS, SRX, XT5, XTS

This an EASY INSTALL and an EXACT FIT!!! I love it, and it makes my key fob look brand new again!!! 10 STARS if I could!!!

Note: this review is for the shell; just the case, not the remote with programmable parts inside.My remote randomly stopped working. My car display lets me know when the battery in the remote is low, so I knew it had to be the remote itself, which was in awful shape from being thrown around inside my purse and/or dropped over the nine years of the car. Cadillac service wanted to charge over $200 for a new remote! I said what the heck, and bought this to try, since I’m not going to cry if I’m out $15, and the issue may simply be related to the fact that my old remote was so beat up, and missing the plastic cover.It was very simple to use this to replace my old shell. (The hardest part was opening the original case itself 😭). I opened the old case, took the inside electronic part out, including the old rubber backing, which was also kind of old and crusty, then replaced with the new case. I even used the back part of the old shell just to retain the Cadi emblem (this remote case doesn’t have the emblem).Presto, works like a charm, my car locks, unlocks, opens the hatch, and auto-starts brilliantly.YAY!

Fit was exact and good quality material. Second one ordered. Easy to replace. God value for the money.

This is a case only, not a full FOB. Some confusion out there could be to the fact that it comes with an instruction card directing you to a website to program a remote. It does not apply to the case, you re-use the guts or brains of the key. This does appear to come with a replacement blank key but not sure if that is the same metal that the original key uses and can be cut. Either way, its there. You wont use it since you should have a key already as part of the remote. Some notes: The original has a nice caddy emblem that the replacement does not come with. See pic of old remote and this one. The old remote has key data for it on the back part of the case, either save it or take a picture of it, write it down, whatever is easier as it allows you to purchase a replacement Key FOB from the factory. And the last note is there is a small protector film that is not included with this case but is part of the original. It goes between the silicone button cover and the button board. Not sure its needed but I re-used my original. Other than that, its a perfect replacement and great value for the price. Time will tell how well the rubber holds up but mine was so bad, I would rather have this one that use the original.

Excellent replacement. My 2016 Cadillac SRX FOB was in rough shape, all of the buttons on the FOB were gone. I ordered this and had my original replaced within seconds. My replacement was only the case, I popped out the valet key and then used a small flat-head screw driver to gently remove the back of the FOB (starting where the valet key hole is). I then switched out the battery and electronics. Total replacement time, under 60 seconds. I kept my original back (it fits the new replacement FOB perfectly) because it has the nice Cadillac logo on it. I highly recommend this FOB replacement.

Easy to install in minutes. It's actually better constructed than the original one. Would buy again.
